The experience from start to finish handling my divorce case was outstanding! Melanie Rice and her legal assistant (Lisa) were as good as you can get. I was constantly kept informed, my questions were answered, and I just can't say enough about their expertise. I promise, this review is worth the read. I have been fighting custody of my ten year old daughter her whole life. It has not been an easy road. I have been through many lawyers and haven't had good representation. That is, until I came across Mr. Andrew Taylor. During our initial consultation, I could tell he genuinely cared about my case and he truly wanted to help me. Most lawyers wouldn't take on a case six weeks before trial. But Mr. Taylor was up for the challenges he knew he was about to face. I placed all of my trust in him and Samantha and they didn't disappoint. Mr. Taylor was always honest with me during the whole process. He also kept me informed so there were no surprises. Mr. Taylor was extremely professional as was his paralegal, Samantha. Needless to say, the outcome was what I had hoped it would be. The time and efforts him and Samantha put in for my case is something I will forever be grateful for. I highly recommend Mr. Taylor and Samantha and if I could give them 100 stars, I would.

I had a medical malpractice case and even though it took longer than I thought it would, I was happy with everything. I also never had to deal with anything legal before or since. I just wish VA didn't have a cap on medical malpractice cases. Thank you and Quinn thanks you.

My experience with Melanie Rice of Nichols Zauzig was great! I only have good things to say about her work ethic and resolve get you what's in your best interest. My case was drawn out a little longer than we expected and we encountered some unnecessary feedback however, she handled it like a true professional (if it bothered her it wasn't obvious). She's great at her job and i'd highly recommend her to anyone seeking a lawyer that doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and taking care of business. Outstanding and thorough! It was a pleasure doing business with her!

I was given Nichols Zauzig a few years ago as I contemplated a divorce. I’m thankful that I had their number because I suddenly needed them. My ex had her attorney send me an email telling me she wanted a divorce. Cassandra Chin urged me to try to work out a settlement agreement with my ex, but it is no surprise we couldn’t work anything out ourselves. Just before we went into a settlement meeting between the 2 attorneys and my ex, my ex pulled her original (untenable) offer and submitted an offer even worse. Cassandra called me before sending me the new offer and and told me not to worry because the new offer was against Virginia statute in several areas. She assured me that I would do better than the original offer my ex had just pulled. She was absolutely correct in her assessment. We got a much better deal and made a few nominal concessions early in the meeting that paid dividends later. Though I got divorced later in life and my ex had no savings or investments of her own, I will be able to retire thanks in no small part to Cassandra’s guidance. I thought we worked well together and I owe my future to her.

I found myself in need of a divorce attorney. Someone who was familiar with the military and who could assist me even several states away.
