Mr. Hayne has represented me on a few occasions over the past 20 years. His knowledge, expertise, accessibility and reassuring demeanor is absolutely impeccable. He was able to make such a strong case regarding a legal technicality on my DUI offense (which involved a minimum of 120 days in jail) that the prosecutors had no other choice than to offer me a substantially reduced plea with no jail time. Unfortunately, I had to hire a DUI attorney and I'm glad I was referred to Steve. He made the experience less horrifying. He knows what he's doing and really cared about his clients. He took the time to make sure I understood what I was going and made sure my family felt at ease. When I went back for another offense, he brought on other colleagues to help me due to his workload. He was still very hands on with my case even though he referred me out to another firm. He'll still show up in court while I was being represented by someone else. His partner at the time also showed up. As much success as he's had, I honestly was surprised at how much personal attention my cases received.

Steve represented me during one of the most difficult 16 month period in my entire life - when I was charged with a DUI on New Years Eve. When I first met with Steve, I had no idea what to expect - from him, or from the circumstances that I was facing, and he almost immediately made me feel more comfortable (comfortable as possible considering the situation...) about what I was about to go through. He was totally upfront and honest about the possible consequences, and the steps that I would have to go through during the entire process - which although the reality of it made me feel very apprehensive, his honesty was reassuring. He laid out the possible avenues which my case might go down, and was very helpful in advising me of my options and what the expectations may be for each one. As things moved forward, many different questions crossed my mind every hour of every day about what might happen - Steve either answered my call, or quickly called me back without fail no matter the time of day, or day of the week. This type of personal service made me feel much more confident in not only Steve as a person, but as my attorney advising and representing me. He always had his door open for me to meet with him as the case progressed to answer my questions and advise me of my best options, and this always made me feel more at ease even though my personal stress levels were at times "going through the roof". I also was very impressed with Steve's knowledge of not only how the "system" worked, but his personal knowledge and experience in dealing with the people involved with running the "system" - this proved to be very beneficial in the outcome of my case. Overall, I must say that hiring Steve was the absolute smartest thing I could have ever done for a person in my situation - and I have absolutely no regrets, and will always be grateful for his representation.
