Unfortunately, I have been involved in a 5 year divorce and Blake was my 4th Attorney. I can unequivocally say that he was the best that represented me. Trust is important and you only have to meet Blake to know that he is trustworthy as well as professional. Clients will not go wrong with Blake at your side!

McKinley Irvin was very responsive and professional. Blake Hilty supported me in an advisory capacity and was fantastic. He didn't attempt to grow his role or "sell" me on anything. He was just very responsive and wanted to know what my goals were. He was a good listener. Then he provided some very good coaching. Because of his guidance I was able to achieve a settlement that I was comfortable with and perhaps more importantly I avoided a hearing. I worked with Blake Hilty on a summary judgement that was brought forth in the midst of an ongoing custody dispute with my child's father. At the time when this summary judgement was made I had been working with another wonderful lawyer at McKinley Irvin, however, I ran out of funds preparing my response to this motion. Blake volunteered his time and skills to help me finalize my response and he also came to represent me in court at the hearing. We won the summary judgement and I was awarded full attorney's fees. It definitely can feel odd leaving a review for something as ugly as a divorce. When all this happened to me I was scared, I felt alone, I felt like my life was over, and that I would never recover. I interviewed five attorneys before I found Blake. He doesn't over talk, he doesn't overcharge, he doesn't mess around with things that don't matter. He is very informative and concise and makes you feel like you have a warrior at your back. I was a complete mess and Blake helped bring me back to earth. He set a plan in motion for what needed to be done, even though I had absolutely no idea what Came next. In every divorce case there is always a multitude of tiny things that must be dealt with. Blake and his paralegal were amazing!! If they didn't get back to me instantly, it was always very promptly, even if he was in court. My story is different as my husband and I were able to reconcile after six months, and no one could've been happier for me than Blake and his paralegal. As a family law/divorce attorney he knew and supported what was right for me he didn't try to keep me on the divorce path to make more money. He was caring, and he was happy that my husband and I were able to work things out. I know that this is not everyone's experience and I feel very fortunate. To have Blake have my back when things are rough, but to be there when things turned better was one of the kindest things I've experienced in an attorney. Blake Hilty was my attorney for my divorce. This was my first and only divorce and It was a difficult process for me. I had little experience with the legal system. Mr.Hilty was very knowledgeable about family law and was able to guide me through the process. I felt he always "had my back". What I learned was that the reasons for the divorce and my marital problems had little or nothing to do with the law.
