Consider yourself lucky if Michael has room for you. COST: His rate is good, and he is extremely efficient which makes him a great deal. A fast talker, fast thinker and has the fire to fight for what is just. EXPERIENCE: Many lawyers with less experience can suffer from a lack of wisdom and experience, but Michael is a 2nd generation lawyer who leverages his mothers wisdom (Natalie DeMaar). So you get his cutting edge legal intelligence and his moms 30+ year experience. The best of both worlds. ETHICS: Don't bring your sour attitude to harm your ex, judges see right through it and Michael knows this. For many dads, the law can be on your side, but that may not be how the judge rules (unfortunately in WA). Michael is not afraid to tell you what you don't want to hear in an attempt to get the best outcome and do what is BEST FOR YOU and YOUR CHILD. He has a great overall picture and keeps you from getting caught in the minor details or your ex-spouses minor contempt.

I hired Michael for for a prenup and was very happy with his work. He was very quick to respond and to complete the contract. I was happy he was able to get along with my future wife and her lawyer and get a good agreement together that protects both of us.

Michael is a relatively young lawyer who helped me through my divorce. He is an associate at a small law firm and given my concerns over costs, he was given my case rather than a more senior attorney at the firm/ Michael looks a little young, but do not let his age deceive you. He was shockingly knowledgable and did an excellent job with my case while watching the bottom line. Michael was very good at being cost effective with the limited resources I had and I really appreciated his insightful advice as to the most cost effective strategy with my divorce. I highly recommend him to anyone who is needs a family law attorney.
