Even before my accident, I had substantial pain and limitations in my left shoulder. When I was rear-ended, my shoulder got much worse, but I made the mistake of telling the insurance company that I already needed shoulder surgery prior to the accident. Despite this, Adam worked with my medical providers, reviewed my medical records with them, and got them to agree that I was in fact NOT surgical prior to the accident--but I certainly was afterward. Even with my shoulder surgeon on board, we still faced an uphill battle due to my off-the-cuff recorded statement that I previously needed surgery. As a result, we had to file a lawsuit, go through discovery and depositions, and endure a lengthy and slow negotiation process. With my doctors on my side but my own statement working against us, both sides had a lot of risk if we were to proceed to trial. Accordingly, Adam was able to negotiate a settlement that exceeded my expectations. Adam represented me for almost 4 years, and during that time, took a job at his new law firm. I had the choice to remain with Adam’s old firm, but I decided to stick with Adam, and I’m so glad I did. Adam is worth his weight in gold. He represented me in a case where my own insurance company completely denied my claim. I contacted Adam, and he quickly realized that the insurance company had not performed a sufficient investigation before denying my claim. Adam told my insurance company that, because they had not conducted a sufficient investigation, he was going to sue them for bad-faith insurance practices. I was out for a beautiful day with my family when a driver pulled out in front of us and we smashed into the car.
