Had to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy and was scared to death. From the moment I was escorted into the conference room, I was made comfortable. Matt proceeded to explain the process in words I could understand. I gained confidence in what I had to do through his confidence. He kept me informed every step of the way. He allowed me to make payments for his fee as I was completely broke. He never asked me to pay more than I could each month. Most of all, he did not make me feel like I was a loser.

I went to Mr. Beaty for a bankrupsty. He was very willing to help me and to give his advice. He kept in contact with me thorough emails. Kept me posted on times to meet, what he might need and was very willing to adjust his time to work with my time. Than I had some sudden deaths in my family which he was very understanding about. Matt Beaty was very knowledgeable and efficient in the bankruptcy process we were going through. He always got back to me whenever I had a question. He followed up with me on missing items he needed for the case. He was very friendly. He made the whole process less intimidating. I was very nervous asking for legal assistance, and Matt was very caring, and non-judgmental. He answered all of my many questions and I felt totally comfortable with the whole process.

Absolutely horrible experience. I spent nearly my entire retainer talking to the receptionist. The office is not caught up to modern times yet so all files and paperwork is manual, nothing is computerized. There were many times I received other peoples paperwork and caught numerous errors in my own paperwork. My ex and I made it clear we were willing to work things out amicably but wanted legal representation to assist in the process. His lawyer and Beaty ended up pitting us against each other and twisting things that were said which ultimately extended the process (more $$ for them of course). Once we realized this we fired them both. Sadly we walked away without anything actually getting legally filed and the retainer spent. We ended up going through mediation instead. Each time I spoke with this office I found it very frustrating.

MATT WAS VERY HELPFUL, KIND, CURTOUS, INFORMED, PUNCTUAL ON ALL ACCOUNTS, VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND HANDLED EVERYTHING FOR ME.
