I came to Maureen in February with a case of extraordinary circumstances. My sons had been withheld from me by their mother, who had absconded my sons to the United States. Me. living in Canada, and unable to enter the country had no means to compel her to allow me to speak to, let alone see my two sons, who were 2, and 4 at the time. Within 3 months, Maureen had processed, served, and taken my son's mother to court. This past weekend, I got to hug my boys, and we spent the weekend, the first of what will be many, in the parks and beaches of Vancouver. There is no feeling like the relief of getting to feel the hug of your most precious people again. I recommend Ms. Toomey for her results, compassion and energy that she brought to my situation. Me and my boys can't thank her enough.
