I was blindsided with a protection order, divorce papers, and accused of allegations of both physical and sexual abuse. I began calling attorneys seeking help. After meeting with several and not finding any that could handle my case due to the criminal aspect, I had a local attorney tell me I needed the best and recommended Vern. From our first consultation I knew I had been led to the right place. Vern screens out clients based on their willingness to be honest with him, telling me that I could expect the same level of ethics from him. He listened to everything I had to say and I could tell he was assessing my truthfulness. It was clear that justice is more important to him than what he is being paid. Through her knowledge of the legal system, she got my polygraph results entered into evidence (which is almost unheard of), as well as witnesses on the stand who would not normally have been able to testify. Both she and Vern were well-prepared in trial through the research they had performed, and were very thorough in questioning and cross-examining witnesses to draw out all the information and facts that needed to be heard. A divorce battle over the past two years takes the cake, for the most difficult journey of which I've ever embarked upon. Roxana did great on my high conflict custody divorce. She came in the middle of it and had to deal with a completely egotistical uncooperative Respondent for 7 months. She found assests I was unaware of and was able to get me much more than I expected financially. I guess he should have just signed the divorce papers before i got a lawyer..I was awarded what I wanted aside from one thing that was out of her control. She is compassionate and understanding.

I was served a baseless protection order at the beginning of December at an attempt from the mother to alienate me from my 3 children, even though I have been the primary parent for years. The Vern McCray Law Firm was able to help me on extremely short notice and the attorney Roxana wrote an incredible response using the evidence that I provided. At the first hearing Roxanna was able to help me get the children removed from the protection order so I could be with my kids around the holidays!
