Sean helped me resolve a very difficult divorce/child custody case and I am so grateful he was on my team. As an attorney myself, I was surprised by how hard it was to find a good lawyer, especially one that didn't charge astronomical fees. Sean is down to earth, easy to talk to, and very helpful. My sense is that he's better than most at reaching settlement, although his advice was also spot on about the realities of my case and which issues to really push on. And unlike some of the lawyers I'd worked with, he responded right away to my calls and emails. I think this accessibility, combined with his very reasonable fees, make him stand out among divorce attorneys. I would highly recommend Sean to anyone needing legal advice in their divorce.

After going to a free consult at Genesis and signing a retainer, the firm passed my case within the firm to its newest member, instead of the attorney on the retainer. The firm claimed it would be a “better financial fit”, and that “calendars are full”. Sean had never been in front of any commissioner or judge in any civil or criminal case. This fact was also hidden from me the client. With his mutual military background Sean advocated for the respondent in every way. Non of the obligations the court ruled upon came to any fruition. Paperwork, deeds, titles, attorney fees, fines all are glazed over by Sean.
