David came highly recommended from another attorney of mine and he did not disappoint! He's very straight to the point and won't tell you what you want to hear, but instead be realistic about all possible outcomes based on the legal system and all his years of experience. David will always have your back, and tell you when you're being unreasonable so you don't come across as irrational in court. As difficult as my ex was, David handled everything very well. If it weren't for his guidance I couldn't have imagined my divorce going as well as it did. It is no surprise why he is known for his integrity and I cannot recommend him enough! Definitely a friend worth having on your side and not against 👍 PS. Thanks to Sean, Alex, Man & Heather as well! Everyone also responds in a very timely manner as well 👍

I was looking for an attorney to put together a prenuptial agreement for me and my fiancé. I did some searching before I was lucky enough to find Constance Locklear at Genesis. Important fact - my (now) husband and I are both attorneys, and my husband had his own independent counsel who was also reviewing the documents. Constance was great at handling our plentiful questions, our excessive revision suggestions, our multiple drafts, and our delays. (Yes, we were 'those clients') She had patience and insight, and was there for us as we pushed to get things done at the last minute. While she facilitated a group effort, I always felt like I had an advocate on my side. She went above and beyond what I expected, and was a pleasure to work with. She seems to truly care about her work and her clients. The cost and billing was all very reasonable - she isn't cheap (you get what you pay for), but you also won't be hemorrhaging money. I strongly recommend Constance, and the friendly team at Genesis. But also, please be a better client to her than I was ;D

Marya Noyes is absolutely amazing! I am currently a student earning my Legal Technician (LLLT) degree and she helped me with an assignment by doing an interview. She went above and beyond Marya gave me so much information about being an LLLT. Not only did her interview help me with an assignment it helped me confirm that I am making the right decision. I was lucky to have called Genesis Law Firm. From the secretary, Heather who anwsered until ONE OF THE BEST lawyers I have ever seen. I have had many throught the years. We used Shawn Hyde. Mine was URGENT about my children. I was a mess and scared. Shawn knew exactly what emergency motion to use. I HIGHLY Recommend Shawn or definitely Genesis Law Firm! Marya assisted in my Pro Se divorce as my Legal Technician. She helped me navigate processes in place which seem undaunting at best to the average civilian. With Marya's assistance I was able to ensure all our documentation was complete, including our Parenting plan, submit our divorce papers during CoVid, and have our divorce approved and finalized on our first attempt. I have no question in my mind that without Marya's assistance we would be starting over again, having missed some form, or mis-entered some value, dragging this process on. I cannot thank Marya, or the team at Genesis enough for their tremendous assistance, patience, and understanding of the situation I was going through!

Eight calls between me and my sisters... no answer. I left three voicemails over three weeks. Not a single response. Sure they're working remotely. That explains the no answers. But the ignored voicemails was so disappointing. I called them because I was told they are the best to handle my complicated divorce. Its complicated because prior to 2014 my now ex-husband and I couldn't legally marry, but have been together since 2001 and purchased our home in 2002. I lost my case and we're now having to go through a drawn out and expensive arbitration where I'll likely lose even more now since my ex has assets hidden and out of reach. It's my fault for holding out hope they would call me back. Never wait for anyone else. Keep calling others until you find someone to take your case. The over the phone hearings, something I think should be illegal unless agreed to by both parties, will not go in the favor of those not represented. With the all the courts offices closed one leaves their documents in a basket for anyone to come along and take. This happened to me with the judges clerk basket. Everyone but the judge recieved my response. The court system is so messed up right now. If I had the attorney the hearing would have been stopped since the hearing was in violation to the courts own emergency order. However the judge completely ignored this argument. An attorney would have pressed the judge. Sadly I didn't.
