Jennifer Coombs is a wonderful lawyer she helped me through my divorce and getting visitation with my kids and was very prompt when I asked questions or concerns And help me through the hardest time I had ever went through in my life I highly recommend her she is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and knows her stuff thanks again.

I hired Damon to assist me in custody case with my ex. My ex took things to an ugly level and while this completely unraveled me, Damon remained completely unphased. In addition to his expertise, wit, charm and humorous outlook, Damon is a very skilled, charismatic and well versed attorney with the ability to strategize in a very clever, effective and proficient manner. Watching Damon in the courtroom is nothing less than hypnotic as he is very knowledgeable, articulate, and thorough with an appropriately authoritative presence. Having someone as clear headed, professional and competent as Damon during such an intensely stressful time is a godsend. Damon is a high demand and reputable attorney for a reason - you will get nothing but the best from Damon.

I was able to make an appointment quickly to see Mr. Canfield to review child support paperwork. He seemed genuinely concerned about my circumstances and might have been someone I had in my corner. However, his lack of response to emails and phone calls put me off. During this stressful time, when I am looking for someone to stand up with and for me, I don't feel as though you should have to badger your attorney. It would take 2 weeks to get a response to an email or phone call. And that response only came as a result of additional emails and calls.

Damon provided me the absolute best possible outcome in dealing with my ex-wife and her succession of attorneys in a very difficult divorce. From the beginning he developed a strategy to help me achieve my goal of keeping custody of my two children. My ex-wife fled with our children under allegations of abuse. Damon was able to get them returned to me under temporary custody and with dissolution, permanent custody. He also enabled me to keep our house, which was a bonus for the stability it provides. His recommendations for hiring a Guardian ad Litem and mediator reflected his experience in navigating the local court rules and who would best support my case. In addition, both he and his paralegal Asa always kept me informed on what was happening, what I could expect and were always responsive to my concerns through what was a very difficult process.

Damon did such a wonderful job with my case. My ex did not make it easy, but Damon got me everything I wanted to make sure that my daughter was safe and taken care of.

Damon has been more than just a phenomenal attorney, he has been like a friend. The opposing party's attorney has been nothing more than an antogonistic bully through out the whole case and submitted lie filled declaration after lie filled declaration. Any time I have had to be in the same room as them I have always been able to remain calm and at ease with Damon at my side. He tactfully presents his arguments, maintains a calm, yet authoritative demeanor and is nothing but professional. Any time I have felt at the brink of having an emotional break down I have only had to call Damon or his paralegal, Asa, and I always hang up the phone feeling reassured. While my case has felt slow and painful and like little progress has been made, I am realizing more and more that Damon has strategically set up the case in such a way that will ensure our eventual success. Damon and Asa always make sure that my questions are answered, documents are written so it includes what I want and need them to say, make sure I fully understand all legal documents and answer emails and return phone calls in a timely manner. Without them as my legal guidance I would not have been able to maintain my facade of sanity for as long as I have. Damon is an honest attorney. In terms of finances he has always been more than generous and fair with how he bills his clients. He is quick to defend in the courtroom and great with pointing out the opposing party's flaws. I wouldn't retain any other attorney since having had Damon.

Damon has done excellent work assisting me with a 3rd Party Custody arrangement and is currently assisting me in adopting that child. Not only is Damon knowledgeable, articulate, and easy to work with, he dominates in the courtroom. His creativity, calm demeaner, and success in what he does, is truly mind blowing. I would not go to anyone other than Damon Canfield for family law matters. He really does make things happen!

I hired Damon Canfield to represent me in the legal separation from my partner of 24+ years. He is an excellent attorney. He has a stellar reputation, is very easy to talk to, and is very thorough and knowledgeable. He actually sits as Pro Tem Commissioner (judge) in the same courtrooms he argues cases in as a lawyer, so he is entirely at ease in the courtroom. His arguments are well prepared, well-spoken, precise and to the point. He steers the judge in a favorable legal direction. He leaves opposing counsel stumbling for words (you wouldn't want Damon on the other side of a legal argument). Besides being an excellent legal counsel, he is a kind and considerate man. I very highly recommend Damon!

Damon Canfield is definitely a lawyer who knows what he is doing. I have retained him in the past and will definitely go to only him if i need anything in the future. During the time Mr. Canfield was helping me, he was very intuitive and knowledgeable about my situation, questions i had, what could/would happen, what to possibly expect, and followed through to the very end with me. Feeling confident while you are sitting in a courtroom with another party who is "not" on your side, is very scary. Mr. Canfield was extremely professional at all times, while making me feel like it was handled, and i definitley felt confident putting my trust in him. I retained Mr. Canfield for my attorney when my Ex stopped paying child support. I had gone several months without anything on my previous court order that was nearly 10 years old. I heard from his colleague, whom had done my living will, that Mr. Canfield was one of the best and therefore I decided to try him. Not only was Mr. Canfield aggressive and extremely competent but he has a fabulous disposition that makes him easy to talk to and understand (not intimidating to the one that hires him). It did cost me quite a bit to get this done but not only am I starting to get support payments again I also have a fantastic court order now to back me for further collection action. I would strongly suggest this attorney for any Family issues you may have. I give him an A+

Damon Canfield was recommended to me by a retired judge as being "good" in family law. He guided me for over a year in the court processes required to gain temporary legal custody of my grandson He successfully defended several attempts to challenge the custody made by the father's parents. During this time I found Damon to be extrememly knowledgeable and professional in the court rooms. He taught me a great deal about the law. He helped my daughter by outling the steps to her recovery. At the same time he proved himself to be a very caring person whose bottom line was to attain the best result possible result for the child.
