My daughter and I were in a serious car accident last year. I broke several bones, had surgery to place plates and pins, and was off work for almost 4 months. I hadn't even thought about hiring a lawyer for my slipping and falling on a freshly mopped floor with no "wet floor" sign in the grocery store, since there was no video and no witness.
