There of the five star reviews Samantha Sommerman will promise you but never deliver, she would agree with a client about certain things that she will address the court about only not to do so and then later give an explanation that it wasn’t necessary if you want somebody that’s anti-masculinity male and is all about women empowerment then this is the woman to hire she is a control freak and does everything her way don’t fall for the news and how she beats certain cases that were high profile those cases were years old and little evidence not a good attorney if I could give below once star I would .

I called Sam for a free consultation for an issue we are having with our neighbor. I told her everything she was very straight forward and honest. She gave me some options. She was very friendly and she even had another call come in asked she could call me back. After talking to her if things escalate I will be hiring her.

She is is a perfect blend of professional and personable when she represented me in 2017-2018. She was the public defender to have, she really fights for her clients. I knew she was genuinely invested in making sure we got the best result. She has away of commanding attention in the courtroom which gave me a lot of confidence in her. The charges she represented me on were firearm and distribution, I also had a criminal history before hand. I have had my run ins with public defenders. I never met one I trusted until I met Sam, she's honest, engaging, reliable, the type to under promise and over perform. She did so much for me that no other attorney ever had. I had fired the attorney before her because they wouldn't file certain motions. Sam filed those motions and so much more. She was there for me in times of crisis, always honest, got back to me ASAP, and in the end she ultimately got me the best result that could come from my particular case. There was no disputing most the evidence against me and so knowing that I declined going to trail but don't get it twisted she was war ready but I was gonna be found guilty of one firearm charge no matter what and my range was 87-116 months for the firearm. I was looking at 116 months the state recommendation but because of this amazing, hardworking, dedicated professional women I got just 67 months. Its my personal belief that no other attorney in the world could have saved me that 49 months of my life But Samantha Sommerman did. I will be forever greatful for her. Sam worked on 2 cases for me in regards to a self defense case. The first case was in defense of Red Flag Laws being used against me to permanently take away my 2nd Amendment rights. The prosecutors were not prepared to have to fight, and Sam drafted a legal brief citing 7-8 Constitutional violations. The prosecutor agreed to drop that case if I would agree to sign an agreement for the duration of the trial for the primary charges. The second case was a murder vs. self defense case, and even when she was 7 months pregnant, she worked long late hours to prepare legal briefs and Supreme Court citations to fight the prosecutors every step of the way, and they tried every trick to put me away. I owe this woman my life. She stood up to the Goliath resources of the State, leveled against me. In the end, leading up to the verdict; she held my hand, which gave me some comfort as I was about to learn my fate... NOT GUILTY. Sam is a warrior and a compassionate lawyer. I felt like a human with her, not a client or customer. She is passionate about winning and standing up for the average person against the awesome power of the State. If your life depends on it, you had better hire Sam.

Samantha is a true legal soldier! She knows her stuff, is tenacious and FIGHTS for you! What else could you ask for? During a time when the world has shut down, my attorney got the results I needed and deserved today. I will be at home with my family tonight due to her hard work.
