I was in the process of retaining Mr. Burkhalter for a custody case. Unfortunately I was unable to financially make it happen. Even though I was unable to pay Mr. Burkhalter went out of his way to help with a part of the process he had become involved with before I knew I couldn't afford to go forward. I appreciate everything he was able to do for me given the situation.

We have used Scott multiple times and find him to be highly skilled and professional. We originally hired to him to assist with mediation after a very poor experience with another firm. Scott was very knowledgeable with how the local court system works, providing insight into how judges may rule and giving us reasonable expectations about the outcome of our case. Unfortunately, following our original mediation, we continued to have problems. Scott has provided advice as necessary and always tried his best to be upfront about costs and expectations. He is a great advocate for achieving balance between fighting for your parental rights vs. fighting a battle that may be winnable but not justified due to the cost.

 I hired Anna for defencing myself on charges of Domestic Violence charges & Criminal charges in which CPS Offices, Domestic Violence Offices and Police Department were involved. Taking to consideration the fact that I am not the citizen of the United States yet, I was told by the majority of my friends to leave the country as going against the system is useless and I would be simply departed from the US. But despite all these facts Anna agreed to help me. 
 When I come to her office and explained my situation, she started working immediately. Without wasting a minute, she connected to CPS Office, to a police officer who investigated my case etc. From the first day she was hired, she instilled confidence into my heart. She was available at any moment of the day, even during the weekends! If Anna was not able to answer my phone call right away, she called me back whenever she had an opportunity to do so. It was a very long process, during which Anna gathered a huge evidential base for a trial that lasted for five days! She bravely battled against the system represented by police officers, CPSs, prosecutors, DV attorneys, and a judge who apparently was on the prosecutors’ side. The professional way Anna defends people in court is worthy of respect. Her ability to do cross examinations witnesses is impressive! She knows exactly what to say, how to say and when to say. Her speech in front of trial jury was really convincing. Because of the exceptional amount of preparatory work, the perfect knowledge of the legislative framework, and Anna’s ability to persuade people we won this trial (criminal process)! The verdict on all charges is NOT GUILTY! Thank you very much Anna! P.S. Prices for Anna’s services are affordable and I can affirm everybody that she did her job 100%!

Не могу описать как сильно я поражен уровнем профессионализма и самоотдаче Анны. Это просто невероятно! Подобный подход к делу я видел только в кино про крутых адвокатов.Да да, это правда. Анна вела и успешно выиграла дело моего друга. Кто знает, что такое domestic violence office, тот поймет, что против тебя работает вся государственная машина и им не нужны никакие доказательства, чтобы обвинить человека и год тягать его по всем возможным инстанциям. В ходе 5-ти дневных слушаний, суд отклонил всех самых важных свидетелей и не позволил показать присяжным ни одной фотографии, прямо опровергающих обвинения. Тяжело поверить, но даже при таких обстоятельствах она выиграла весь процесс. Мы плакали когда суд объявил "не виновен" по всем трем обвинениям и она плакала вместе с нами... Анна не просто хороший адвокат и профессионал, она Человек с большой буквы.

I met Anna a few weeks ago. My friend was her client. Against my friend stood up the whole world, against him was the whole system of Justice. But only Anna believed in him. She took up the impossible - she began to work to gather evidences, which no one could find. Anna wholeheartedly took up this matter, even on weekends she worked on the case of my friend. And the trial began. Anna is a professional at 100 percent. She was able to prove my friend's innocence, she proved that justice must be honest. She is very strong and in spirit, and as a lawyer. She won. We won. She was happy with us, and cried with us! She was part of us, not just a lawyer. She's super professional! She believed in my friend and won!

Anna represented me 2 criminal cases and she was incredibly meticulous throughout the entire ordeal. She got one charge dismissed and the second case went to trial and she did not let anything slip through the cracks, catching every little possible detail which concluded in a not guilty verdict. She is absolutely incredible at what she does and fought for me the entire time as if it was her liberty at stake and not mine. I would not hesitate to retain her again for anything.
