I'm often amazed by how many mature adults I meet who have no estate plan in place. Although few admit it, I think it is a combination of fear of death AND being intimidated by the seeming complexity of an "estate plan." While there is little that an attorney can do to help with the former, I highly recommend Christopher Benson as someone who can help reduce, if not eliminate, that feeling of intimidation when it comes to preparing an estate plan. He is thorough, professional and an expert in translating legalese into simple, understandable terms for those of us who have not been to law school. Although I will not be around to witness the distribution of my estate, I have watched as my life-partner used trust documents prepared by Mr. Benson to settle her parents' estate. Although it was a difficult time emotionally, the process was greatly simplified and throughly clear, thanks to Christopher Benson. He has my unequivocal recommendation.

Chris Benson is very knowledgeable, considerate, and polite so after leaving his office the first time I relaxed that finally my affairs were in good hands and that my future would be brighter. He treated me respectfully so I wasn't ashamed of where I had ended up financially. Hi, We don’t have any experience with this sort of thing, but Christopher Benson has helped us with our estate planning setting up a trust and we feel confident he did a good job. He was very professional and answered our questions. We were really not sure what all needs to get done or what questions to ask at the time of the estate planning because it can become overwhelming, but he was even able to answer our questions after the process was completed mouths later.
