Sorry Matt for the late review. I hired Matt after firing my first divorce lawyer. My first lawyer I felt was complacent and only wanted to work hard enough for a 'fair' judgement. Matt took me on and not only worked on my behalf and best interest, but got it done in half the time my previous lawyer worked, and a better judgement too. This was a couple of years ago when Matt was in Camarillo, ca. Hire him and enjoy the rest of your life.

Mat jumped into my case late but has so gracefully been able to get my divorce settled in our third attempt at mediation. Previous council got me into a huge mess and that left a lot of work for Mat. He worked countless hours to get me what I wanted. I appreciate the professionalism, privacy, and diligence, you are definitely more deserving of 5 stars! Thank you Mat!

Matt has integrity. Matt is solution-oriented, brilliant, creative and compassionate, and represented me very effectively while also taking into consideration all parties involved - with a strong emphasis on the effects the case would have on my three children. Matt is AMAZING. If there was something higher than excellent on that scale, I would choose it! My ex's lawyer wanted to instigate; she fueled the fire between my ex and me - which led to more challenges - and more costs. Matt gave me things I could do on my own to cut costs whenever possible. He told me the pros and cons of each battle along the way so I could knowledgeably make choices. For being so young, I was surprised with the vast amount of knowledge he had - especially with the issues pertaining to military law that we had in our case. He was also interested in finding solutions (utilizing the latest technology like apps or software) for my ex and I to work together to co-parent, not just focused on the litigation aspect. He guided me to separate the roller coaster of emotions from the matter at hand as often as possible so that I made decisions that were sound instead of ones based on the feelings of one awful moment or incident. Yet he listened to everything I had to say with compassion and with the conviction to resolve the issue in my best interest - and he really understood that what I wanted most was for my kids to have everything work out in their best interests. Being that my ex is in law enforcement and a military officer, I often just wanted to give in to the bullying from him and his lawyer. And Matt calmly fought for me when I was exhausted from the battle. Today I am a more empowered woman than I ever was during my 22 year marriage, I have completion in my relationship with my ex and my kids are THRIVING! I am truly blessed that I was referred to Matt Purcell.

If you are looking for an honest and efficient attorney, I recommend Mr. Purcell. Note I started with the word honest. Matt is able to explain legal matters in terms that the average person can actually understand. He is quick in returning calls and e-mails. He is experienced enough to know the best way to handle things, yet young enough to be up on current technology, new laws and our ever-changing society. Matt’s sense of humor makes him approachable and open minded. I felt my legal fees were more than fair for the service I received.

Divorce with children is so hard to begin with, but its worse when your ex's lawyer get involved and then the courts it becomes impossible to understand. when Matt Purcell and I found each other I felt my sanity come back, I didn't have to put up with my ex's lawyer bulling me anymore. Matt walked me through everything he kept me informed of everything. the only thing i wanted from my divorce was my children and Matt made that happen and support for them. Any time I needed to talk to him he always made it a point to call me back each time not days later. I owe him everything for being there... you never know who to go with when you need a lawyer, Matt Purcell will always be by your side and never let you down. I couldn't have had anyone better by my side Thank You Matt.....

First of all I am appalled at the negative review a possible client gave Mr. Purcell! He is extremely thorough, thoughtful, and always makes sure no stone is ever unturned!!! I have been extremely impressed with his service and would recommend him to anyone!!!! He will work for you and do what is right!
