Pros
1
The lawyer was able to fit the client in on short notice and take care of their needs quickly with respect and empathy
“Robert Taylor-Manning was able to fit me in on short notice and take care of my needs quickly with respect and empathy.”
2
The lawyer was described as a "very intelligent man, driven and knew his stuff" and the client felt confident in him
“Rob was a very intelligent man, driven and knew his stuff! He was not afraid to say what needed to be said and made me feel confident in him.”
Cons
1
The lawyer took money from clients but failed to provide the promised service or refund the remaining retainer
“I received a letter when Covid started saying there would be delays for all clients. This was the last I ever heard from him or his office. I have since called dozens of times for a refund of the remainder of my retainer as the matter I hired him for has become irrelevant in the 3 years that have passed. I have never received a call back.”
2
The lawyer had poor communication, did not return calls or emails, and made mistakes in handling the client's case
“Communication was a HUGE issue. Robert never returned calls or emails. Our first hearing he was late to by a hour. The second one he did it completely wrong. The judge said 'I legally can't do anything because he did it wrong' and wrote a side note asking 'what are you doing to your clients'.”
3
The lawyer charged high fees but did not deliver the promised services or provide refunds
“It took him 6 months to get to my case. The only thing he accomplished was a change of venue (which he was a hour late to) everything else he did wrong. He charged me nearly $10,000 and I have yet to see a credit.”
