Hello all, Below is my personal review for the Law office of Mr. Mark McClure. In my personal opinion, I think Mark McClure and his office staff are one of the most professional law offices around. If you are looking for a bankruptcy attorney to help you with your issues then Honestly, stop right here and call his office. They made the process for us comfortable, smooth and Very reassuring, once I contacted them NO creditors called us to bother us and that is one of the things most people are looking to stop- the annoying phone calls from creditors or collection agencies! His staff, (Kim & Averie) were wonderful and helped us throughout every step of the way all the way to the completion of our case. Call his office and let them assist you with your case. ABSOLUTELY NOT. This attorney ruined my life. Hired him for a custody matter after my boyfriend and I split and I made the mistake of telling him I was going back to CA so he ended up serving me papers for custody. Therefore, a bulk of what I needed David for was approval from the courts to move back to CA due to not being from here & having no support system & my ex and his family sucked. As an attorney who says they are familiar in family law, you’re telling me you don’t know something as basic as the fact WA has no jurisdiction over a child who hasn’t been living here 6 months. Took 2 seconds for me to figure this out on google, and you've been practicing law for how long and didn't know this? My child was 3 months old!!!!! Then I point it out in one of our meetings & he says “oh well there’s nothing that can be done now, we had to say something at the first appearance”. So incompetent. Took forever to file any paperwork and sucked at communication. Then when I pointed out his negligence towards my case he got offended. Eventually ended up dropping me halfway through my case, saying he didn’t like the opposing parties attorney (you mean you knew you didn't have the knowledge to go up against someone who actually knew what they were doing). Who drops someone trying to fight for their child halfway through a case. Complete imbecile & wasted so much money on him for no reason.

Never got a chance to talk to attorney, scheduled 400$ initial consultation and got cancelled 35 minutes before because we didn`t PRE paid it...and follow up the response...nobody from your staff followed up, I called myself asking if we need to pay before or after consultation, received quite rude response that we Must pay before...

I am not sure how he has over a 4 star review. He started my case out well, staff was great. But when it came to court, he absolutely lost it!! Would not listen to me, got ran over and backed up on. He lost my case to a drug addicted, DUI, jailbird with zero legal help. I should have stood up and fired him in court and asked for a continuation. But I couldn’t, because he used them all up!!! If your loved ones mean something to you, I would advise you, in my opinion, go someplace else!

I did not get to hire Mr. Kontos, however speaking with him & receiving him as a referral source & subsequent referrals from him I could assess him to be a kind and professional attorney in family law. He was direct and straightforward and had my best interest even though we had not entered into a client/attorney relationship. The reviews pertaining to his skills as a calm communicator are accurate. I wish he practiced in Pierce as I would have hired him for my needs.

I was in the process of filing bankruptcy, and I was very dissatisfied with my attorney as he was very evasive in answering my questions and my phone calls. I will always get his secretary, so I got very concerned and started looking around and a friend referred me to Mark. I was so glad that my friend told me about him he is very approachable and he explain to me the whole process so I understood what I wanted to do we spent a good two hours together. I was very impressed with his personal service and his friendliness, and I could tell that he really cared about my situation. I now have the peace of mind of knowing that my attorney knows what he’s doing and really cares about me, so much that he gave me his personal number to answer any of my questions. If anyone is looking to file bankruptcy, I highly recommend Mark McClure and his team.
