In the middle of the Covid pandemic, we needed to move my 97 year old mother from an Assisted Living to a Nursing Home for a higher level of medical care. To further complicate matters, Mom’s savings were running out, and we knew that we would need to file for Medicaid assistance in the upcoming months. We Googled Medicaid filing, and quickly realized that we would need legal assistance with this drastic change of living arrangements and financial situation. A friend familiar with our situation recommended Jacob Menashe, a lawyer expert in Elder Law. Mr. Menashe and his Paralegal Alissa Viertel met with us to assess Mom’s situation and potential eligibility, and to determine how to best move forward in filing for Medicaid. Jacob and Alissa gave great service in obtaining medicaide assistance for my 96 year old mother. The state social worker assigned to her case said it was unusal and more complicated than normal. Alissa communicated well and in a timely fashion. I would not hesitate to use the firm in the future,

Very informative and not big on running up a bill for a padded visit. Short and sweet was the experience but I'm so much more educated than I was before.
