Although my struggles are not over yet, Katherine got me out of one of the hardest possitions I ever dreamed of finding myself in. She not only edgucated me on the Law but pulled me out of a corner I put myself in. Without her legal Aid, my voice would have never been properly heard. I paid another lawyer twice what I paid Katherine just to jepurdise my case. Let me just say without this Law Firm I may have never had the glimps of hope, I have for my child now. Thank you Katherine!!! Let me not forget about madeline. She was with me every minute of the whole case. at every hr!!! she was very nice and answered every question I answered! I had an emergancy, where my childs mother wanted to send a stranger out of no where, across states to transport our child... I sent madaline a Email as I was panicking. Wondering if I had to actually hand my child over to a stranger. She quickly got back to me at night time and said. No, you do not have to give your child to a stranger. Unless the BM is there. I could not know where I would be without these 2, but if I had to guess. Without their quick thinking and fast preparation. Probably in a way worse place then I am now. I am forever greatful! Tresa and her team are extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and have won for me every time in court. I first retained Tresa in 2021 and my ex has taken me to court at least 1-2 times per year since. Tresa won a contempt case against the mother, but more notably Tresa won a full trial to prevent child relocation. WA state relocation law favors the parent with more residential time and in my case that is the mother. I have a typical EOW and mid-week visit parenting plan. However, Tresa successfully won a full trial and prevented my ex from moving out of state with our child. Other attorneys told me I had a 10% chance to win just due to the law. Nonetheless, Tresa fought hard for me. She is absolutely fantastic and puts your wishes first. She’s extremely knowledgeable about family law and I would recommend her to anyone!

This should be the only review that you’ll need to read and I am going to speak very honestly about my experience in the Washington State family court system over the past two years. Tresa and her entire team at Sadler Law Firm are the definition of counsel. This custody case involving my two children was undoubtably the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life. I felt like I was stuck in the fight of my life with no end in sight just so I could be a good dad for my kids, the dad they need in their life. After this tribulation I understand why some men give up and walk away. It can be too much at times, however I did not give up. I had a huge amount of support and an entire team backing me. Tresa, Karen and everyone at Sadler Law Firm took my case personally just as my own family did. They fought hard for what was right through out the entire process. Tresa is very smart and knows the law extremely well. It was, at times almost embarrassing for opposing counsel. Over and over again I thought the walls were closing in on me and she was always there to offer advice or direction on how to proceed. Weekends, evenings, even while I was away at work using a satellite phone and a third party messaging application it did not matter. I always felt like my sometimes dumb and irrational questions were heard and answered. Never once during this entire process did I question that I had made the wrong choice in hiring Tresa as my attorney. Tresa was able to secure for my kids and I the time we deserve together, a fair child support amount and believe it or not court ordered visitation for my parents while I am out of state at work. Tresa is a Great attorney I hired her for my family law case. She’s smart about the laws, determined, organized and doesn’t let anyone push her into a corner. I don’t even know where to start with my husband’s case. Long story short my husband had been bullied by his ex-wife for 10 years (we couldn’t afford representation). He paid $650/month in child support for one child and his ex made it next to impossible for him to see or to have any sort of a relationship with the child. A little over a year ago my husbands ex wife filed a petition to amend the support order in hopes of getting awarded a $30,000 and a $2000 judgment against my husband. She had assumed we wouldn’t retain an attorney and didn’t submit supporting documentation with her petition (which made her look like a fool). Tresa and her staff were super responsive and supportive during an extremely difficult time and beyond helpful with the decision process. Tresa definitely had my husbands best interest at heart and guided us through this stressful and difficult process with compassion. Tresa is a no frills, fact based attorney who will be your biggest advocate. Their response time was unbelievably quick and even with stupid questions (and I had A LOT of them!). When I first met Tresa, I was a tattered shell of a person, fighting to keep my little girl. My very first consultation, Mrs. Sadler looked at me and said " your daughter is now my daughter", and she fought like she was losing her own child. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and she never gave up on us or filled my head with false hope. She was honest and willing to think outside the box. Tresa and her whole team took me under their wing and helped me through the most difficult time in my life. Tresa is dedicated, compassionate, and hard working. I was dealing with a criminal case ( not against me) and a custody case, all at the same time. Not once did Tresa or her team ever judge me, but they went above and beyond to support us and help us through each case ( THE CRIMINAL WAS NOT EVEN HER CASE!!), if that doesn't say what amazing attorney she is, I don't know what does. Tresa and Karen ( her Para-legal) started out as my legal consultants, evolved over time into friends and now they are apart of our forever family. Tresa represented me for several years in a nasty child custody battle that was an endless barrage of court motions being filed by the other party. Tresa handled my case with great professionalism and went above and beyond what I paid her to do (eg: she never nickel and dimed me and really should have been paid more for her time because she spent far more time on my case than she charged me for.). After Tresa took over my case (I had no attorney prior), it quickly began improving. She was able to get me a far more balanced and fair visitation schedule, and successfully had my case moved from Spokane County to Snohomish County where we live. I will forever be grateful to Tresa for all of the hard work and care that she put into my case. She isn't only a great attorney, but I really, really like her a lot as a person. My case is now closed as the other party willingly gave up all visitation a couple of years ago but I highly recommend Tresa to anyone who is looking for a fair, honest, hardworking attorney who will go to battle for them in the courtroom. Tresa and her assistant (Karen) did an awesome job on my case, which is very unique. I had paid lot of child support to my ex, who didn't work for several years.... I came to Tresa for help to modify my child suport. At the beginning, lack of info of my ex income, I almost wanted to dismiss the case, but Tresa has done a good job to work with my ex and collect all info needed for my case. As a result, I get some money back from the ex (I overpaid for child care) and pay a fair amount to support my kid.

If you're looking for a Family Law Attorney, I would recommend Tresa. From the very beginning Tresa was confident and informative. Her team worked hard and quickly, they answered all of my questions and kept me informed every step of the way. I had a lot of work to do on my part for the case but the expectations of me were clear when given and I made sure I had my pieces of the puzzle done in a timely matter. The price we agreed, was the price I paid. It was affordable and worth the money. Tresa was fantastic in court and helped make it less nerve wracking for me.
