I went to Ron after being in a car accident. He not only helped me understand the process but his staff guided me through each step. They reached out to me to let me know what was happening and what kind of timeline to expect, I only had to call once... To set up my consultation. Everyone there is caring, concerned and they became friends as I went through the process that can be trying as well as frustrating for others. I was in pain, because of the accident I had to have surgery and treatment for months following the surgery... They were there every step of the way and very supportive!! I would recommend Ron Meyers and Assoc. to anyone because of Ron's supreme knowledge, empathy and sense of humor and the staff's efficiency and communication skills. It's very hard to imagine that ANY attorney could've done better for me than Ron Meyers. I have permanent damage and intense pain from an MVA. I hired Ron when MY insurance company refused, retroactively, to pay on a legitimate PIP claim. After only one letter from him, they paid to my policy's PIP limits. Later, as my medical bills mounted, MY insurance company again refused to negotiate in good faith on my under-insured motorists policy, forcing us to file suit to recover the funds needed to pay my medical bills. Rather than face Ron Meyers in court, the insurance company settled in pre-trial arbitration for 90+% of the policy limits. This saved me tens of and maybe even a hundred thousand dollars in trial, expert witness, and preparation costs compared to going through the entire court process. My insurance company paid over 90% of the maximum a jury would have awarded because they were afraid of Ron Meyers. Without a trial, that's something most attorneys will never get for their clients. Ron kept me from filing bankruptcy with no chance of ever retiring. Thanks to Ron, I now have enough to pay my all of my medical bills and maybe even one day retiring somewhere warm and tropical. Forget about taking on an insurance company unless you have Ron Meyers in your corner. His is the last name they want to see on a legal document, which means it is the first name you want on yours.

I am a firefighter who met Ron five years ago, while in Tacoma. Ron at the time was representing a fellow firefighter with a heart condition related to his work history. In representing this firefighter against L&I he was exercising a law he personally wrote and sponsored while a representative in the Washington State legislature, known as the Presumptive Disease Law for firefighters. In my case he exercised this same law in representing me against L&I with a Pulmonary Embolism and the following complications I had in 2007. From the time Ron took on the case in 2009 till it reached the Supreme Court of appeals Ron worked tirelessly in fighting the State. In the end we prevailed. I am quite confident any other attorney working this case would not have had the same success. Ron has a special place in his heart for firemen and what we do from day to day. Whenever a fellow firefighter needs help with L &I in dealing with a health related issue related to the Presumptive Disease Law I recommend Ron. Who better to represent you then the man who wrote the law in this state. I cannot say enough good things about Ron and his professionalism in handling my case, and that of others.

Ron is a great attorney and his staff is top notch, he handled everything from start to finish, his main concern was for us to get better and to not worry about the accident he even came to our house several times to check on my family to make sure we were doing ok. I have used the services of Ronald Meyers and his firm on several cases; he and his staff have advised my family on the most sensitive legal matters. Perhaps because of current reruns of BBC's Sherlock my sense is that you are really hiring Holmes when hire Meyers (absent the violin and other annoyances); the principal distinction being that while every bit as smart, Ron is infinity more sympathetic than Holmes. However, like Sherlock, it almost feels like cheating to have him on your side. Everyone he surrounds himself with is absolutely top drawer. More than just in the legal field, I took this man's recommendation for someone to operate on my spine. That doctor, like Meyers, turned out to be one of the most brilliant people I've come to know. (Spine's doing quite well, thank you.) In other words, I have literally trusted Ron Meyers with my life. I would not hesitate to do so again. It should be noted that he has represented me on several matters and prevailed every time. When you see his case book after your problem is resolved, you'll feel glad you weren't on the other side. It should also be said that every single person in his office that I have come in contact with was exceptional unless they were extraordinary. Meyers skills are such that I consult with him first when I need a lawyer for ANYTHING, always wishing that he could do it all. I'm not a relative of anyone at the firm and my only compensation has been my health and my case settlements. I am just a grateful injured party. I hope I never need a personal injury lawyer again but, if I do, I won't be shopping around. Success and compassion speak for themselves.

Ron assisted us with car accident legal issues. He was always very informative and was sure I understood the process. I feel Ron cared about my well being and what was best for me to do as my case progressed. I appreciated that phone calls were returned on a timely basis. The office staff was polite and pleasant to work with also, if they did not have an answer to a question they found the answer and I received a call back from the appropriate person.

Ron and his staff are amazing. We were scared and lost when a friend recommended Ron to us. The insurance company told us that they wouldn't pay for my month of missed work because I had sick leave; so technically I didn't miss any pay. I was expecting my first child at the time and had saved that sick leave for his birth and paternity leave. Ron was able to get us a fair settlement. If we ever have an accident again we will be knocking on Ron's door for help. The Devert's

- Regularly and consistently responded to my emails, once at 10pm and then at 6am the next day. (Does this man sleep?) -Always treated me with respect, which made me comfortable with him. I could tell him pretty much anything. (And I did) - Helped me negotiate through a complicated medical situation; provided mentoring with appeal letters to my health insurance company, and in negotiating a challenging financial situation directly with a surgeon. -The case would hit a roadblock, Ron would either dismantle the roadblock or find a creative and unique way around it. -Was always in the background providing support-even when I was unaware of it. And when I realized how he was there I was shocked in a good way. -Took adequate time for us to meet, when I had questions. Gave me as much time as I needed. -Explained things even when I did not want to hear it. -At times, I consider myself difficult to deal with (in situations of extreme stress), and he was able to find a way to disarm this and work together for a postive outcome. -Negotiated an awesome outcome. (I think it is tacky to explain anymore than this). But I am happy. - In terms of the legal stuff, obviously its not my area of understanding. Ron explained some things, and I read some of his legal letters to do with my case. I read a couple of the letters a friend of mine. They were as blown away as I was, by the level of assertiveness contained within them. I was grateful he was on my side! Let me tell you, I would not like to be on the receiving end of those letters. This man means business. -He had agencies fined by the state for not providing documentation in a timely fashion. This happened at least twice. I always found out by accident. -Changed my opinion about attorneys for the better (Ron is an honorable attorney/human being). I'd had 4 other attorneys in the past. And no one did the work that Ron did. The work that he did, was reflected in the outcome. -He was a breath of fresh air and a bastion of support in a situation I found unpleasant, scary and all-together overwhelming. Without Ron and his staff, I could not have gotten through the entire situation as well as I did. Anyone who has Ron as his or her attorney, is indeed fortunate, and in my humble opinion, cannot do better.

Ron is personable and experienced. He cares about his clients and works to represent them based on what's best for them. His years of experience lends instant credibility. His wife (and business manager) is caring and compassionate. The other office staff are all top notch in their areas of expertise. Great follow through and they will not miss a detail.
