Derek charged us $250 for a rushed, short consultation, gave incredibly inaccurate information and legal advice (confirmed by an additional attorney AND judge), and said at the end that he did not even plan to take our case in the first place.

Still won't return my phone calls

Disappointing and discouraging. Sent an email July 28th requesting a consultation. No reply. Spoke with receptionist on July 31, left message for call back. No reply. Called again on August 3rd, spoke with receptionist who tried to connect me with Derek. He was unavailable. Was told he would call me later in the day. Shortly thereafter received a brief email that he wasn't taking on any new landlord/tenant clients. I only requested a one hour meeting to get some answers to questions. In my opinion, very unprofessional.

I hired Mr.Myers for 10,000 dollars produced all the evidence for my case to make a great case and most likely win. Well months before trial the prosecutor dropped all charges and I was a free man and I only met with Stan twice for a total of 1 1/2 hrs so I asked to have some of my money back because we didn’t need to go to trial and he told me no because of how much work he did…I never saw that work honest definitely not 10k worth of work but that’s not the best part. So two months later the state refiles charges on me so I go to talk to Stan and ask about why and what we should do and he refuses to answer any calls or speak with me he finally sent a letter to my house saying he completely fulfilled his duty to me and now refuses to be my attorney and won’t tell me why he’s a slimy attorney and person that has zero morals ….. And best for last my crime was against a Native American and come to find out he was the chief judge of that tribe so he figured that out and was in cahoots with the prosecutor to drop charges then take my money so then I’d be stuck with a public defender when they refiled charges if you can believe that he’s a terrible lawyer and person I DONT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE he’s a scheming corrupt lawyer!!

I hired Stan Myers to represent me in a case against the city. I cannot in good conscience recommend his services. He will instigate an argument with his you, belittle you and actually curse you out. He is the most unprofessional attorney that I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. I paid him for a services in full. When I fired him, he kept the money he owed me for the remaining services not rendered. I figured that is what he would do based on my experiences with him. I hired another attorney, (Mrs. Unger) and my case was dismissed by the end of the week. Be very careful who you choose to represent you in Port Angeles Washington. Avoid this man. He is not who he pretends to be in your initial meeting with him. He is a fraud. Stan, if you're reading this, I hope you get the help you need. Life is too short to be so hateful and angry.

Derek is the kind of attorney that will make sure you are well informed about the legal process as you work with him. Absolutely stellar work, furthermore, the office is responsive in a timely manner. I have had a complex case and he did a great job! Thanks for the great work!

Pretty decent place knowledgeable attorney was able to help us out in a difficult case

This place had the most rude receptionist ever. Was extremely demeaning, lied about being in the office by herself and then said she had someone else answering phones. Wasted my time with a bunch of questions and asking for information and then finally asked a qualifying question at the end of the conversation only to tell me after wasting 20 minutes of my time that they would not represent me because of a conflict of interest. Based on this experience I can’t imagine what a nightmare it would be to deal with these people let alone pay them.

Decent service, needs landscaping and a facelift.

Apparently Derek is too busy to get back with me after a simple online inquiry. Lawyers who care at least try. Look for someone else.
