I was charged with my first (and hopefully last) DUI in 2023, and I needed someone to help me navigate the process. He then used my early start on those steps to negotiate a pretrial diversion agreement that was far better than what I thought I was facing at the outset. As long as I stay out of further trouble, I will plead guilty to negligent driving at the end of the diversion period.
