I had horrible experiences with lawyers in my past and Cate was absolutely fantastic. For the first time I was actually counseled and informed about basic terms regarding my parenting plan. With Cate's help I was finally able to win against my ex and not be taken advantage of. Thank you so much for all your help and services! Will be contacting Cate again if needed!

I have had a great experience working with O'Brian & associates. They guided me through my divorce with care and persistence. They never once gave up on me! I am so grateful I found them.

They managed to take $1500 for incomplete work, the deal was for a completed agreement. They managed to misspell my name throughout the process despite several reminders. I had to comb through the copies and ask them to correct several mistakes that should've been taken care of. In the end we went with Tatyana Gidirimski, who was great. She pretty much started from scratch and charged half of what we were charged by O'Brian & Associates, and her copies didn't have spelling errors and copied and pasted templates.

Kris and the team helped me throughout the entirety of my divorce. They were always on the ball, and were quick to respond to any question or concern that I had. They were thorough and I am thankful that they were there to help me! Thank you Kris and Melodie!

Kristopher, Nicholas, their legal aides and the office staff were all very professional, understanding and caring. They were prompt with their responses and always spent time answering any and all of my questions. I felt like I always had someone on my side as I went through this difficult process. I would highly recommend them!

Used them for a parenting plan and paid in full after mediation. 3 years later they put a balance to collections with no attempt to contact me. I called their office to ask for the invoices they sent and they would not provide any information and were very rude! No wonder the attorney I used has since left this awful practice!!! Beware!!!

I feel like I got new friends whom I can trust. I want to thank Kris Leavitt and the whole O’Brian team for their representation. I have a certain experience with family lawyers. Family Law is a special area. The conflicts are highly emotional, the attorneys usually promise the pie in the sky, but in reality, they tend to resolve the issues upon the well-established approaches without taking into consideration that some cases have some specifics. In my view, O’Brian and Associates is a different brand of Family Law Lawyers. They do try to help and they are fair to their clients. Not to forget that before starting Family Law, Kris Leavitt was practicing for years in Business litigation. One can imagine how demanding it is, and I could immediately recognize the difference. I would like to mention that all the members of O’Brian and Associates (reception, office, paralegals, and other attorneys) demonstrated accuracy and excellence. They were very supportive. As my case is over (at least for now), I feel like I got new friends whom I can trust. And, by the way, while the whole team worked on my case, they did NOT charge me more than other attorneys. I highly recommend O’Brian and Associates and, if I am forced to be back in Court, I will surely retain them again.
