Got matched to Wong Fleming through my legal benefits at work (Legal Ease). Wong Fleming helped me with my prenup agreement. I was super clear about the date of our wedding which set the timeline for how soon we needed to complete everything. My partner and I filled a survey, which answered most of what we needed, and then my attorney (Deborah) got on the phone with me to discuss some of the details of what I wanted. She came back with a comprehensive draft - most of which was boilerplate, but she was very thorough in the areas I needed her to be. I felt like she understood exactly what I wanted and helped me think through aspects I hadn't considered. She gave recommendations based on experience and I felt well taken care of. She was also very fast and responsive. The draft was good enough that my partner's lawyer (who we later found online) only had to review once, recommended very few changes, then signed off. We started the process 5 months before the wedding. Wong Fleming could have finished it sooner, but we were the slow ones and took time to find my partner's representation. Overall a smooth, straightforward process.

Amy helped my husband and I with our wills. She is knowledgeable, kind, responsive and knew how to handle some international implications we had. She took the time to explain everything to us in detail throughout the entire process. Highly recommended.

I waited weeks to speak to Noel as the "expert" at the firm on real estate issues.
I corrected him on at least one point of law and he provided no useful advice at all.
Additionally, getting the first appointment was a challenge and then he was busy when our appointment time came up and I had to wait for a new appointment

Made appointment, no one picks up the phone, no one calls me. Reschedule, stops replying my email half way, wait until next day, finally rescheduled. Wait for another week for the new appointment, again no one picks up, no one calls. This has delayed our case and causing massive inconvenience. Wasted half a month can't even get someone to pick up the phone. What an completely irresponsible attorney.
They lied about leaving voice message. There is no voice message. They also lied about their phone line being down, turned out the front desk person just left for no reason.
Now read other comments I noticed you do not care about people like us coming from a legal plan. If you are going to be irresponsible, at least be an adult and be honest about it, say you don't want to deal with us. Be a good sport to let us off the hook so we can seek for help in time.

Wong Fleming contracts with Legal Access Plan (Legal Ease) to provide services for Plan members including a free consultation. Despite getting a referral to speak to Ramina Dehkhoda, they decided to ignore my emails and voicemails about a semi-urgent legal matter. I eventually had to get my case reassigned because I couldn't get Wong Fleming to respond to me. If you're too big or too cool to work with anyone but large corporations, don't offer your services through a plan meant to help regular people. In the end, I wasted my time trying to get in touch with Wong Fleming. I guess I'm lucky that their neglect didn't cause me any issues.

Parents of special needs children are painfully aware that parenting doesn't end after 18 years. Sometimes the challenge of caring for adult disabled children is elevated after childhood, in that you face the same (or even intensified) responsibilities, but with less energy to throw at them. My days are preoccupied with diaper changes, medication administration, range of motion exercises, g-tube feedings, seizure control, the ordering and management of home medical supplies, help with activities of daily living, transportation, doctor appointments, and (...ugh...) insurance claims. An added responsibility that I'm guessing most special needs parents don't anticipate (or, at least, don't have a full appreciation for) once the child(ren) turn 18 is upkeeping legal guardianship. It's not just something you file for, and it's done for life. There is documentation and filings - for each dependent - that have to be meticulously kept up to date. That is what Vanessa has done for our family - she has made something (something potentially time-consuming and overwhelming) relatively easy for us. I don't know that there's anything I value more than someone making something easier for me, and that's exactly what Vanessa does. To be honest, I'm not even overly familiar with the exact requirements of guardianship. That's the beauty of Vanessa's assistance. She sends me occasional forms to fill out. I fill them out and send them back to her and she keeps everything legal for us so we don't end up with the added, nightmarish scenario of an expired guardianship. I can rest easy that everything is well in hand. I highly recommend Vanessa; she's offers relaxed peace of mind, and what's more valuable than that?!

Vanessa was very knowledgeable and was able to clearly articulate the process to a first timer like myself. I will be hiring Vanessa again for other legal matters within her expertise.
