I worked with Brent Bohan for almost two years on my divorce. He was recommended to me by a lawyer friend and it was clear from the beginning that I had made the right choice in attorney. I loved that Brent represented me because he was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and diligent. He helped me feel at ease through the whole process. Furthermore, I am very happy with the result he helped me achieve. His paralegal Lindsey also deserves credit because she was incredibly efficient, easy to work with, and helpful!

I have worked with Brian P. Edwards and his team closely over the past 14 months. I am writing this fresh out of an arduous, complex circumstance and trial. While results are pending, I am compelled to share my experience. What I needed: Due to having several friends who are attorneys, I’m very discerning and had my own matrix for assessing potential counsel. I needed someone who could keep the things I most cared about center to their work. This person also needed to be highly competent in every facet of representation. Due to my circumstance, I needed someone who could tame conflict, not induce it. I found that person in Mr. Edwards. My experience with Brian P. Edwards: Brian’s vast experience in the court system makes him incredibly grounded. He has seen everything and cuts through the chaos, providing clarity. His approach is pragmatic and he’s highly intentional about how he works my case, saving me time and money. Through his actions, he demonstrates that my best interests are what he’s most interested in. Highly insightful, he connected the dots in areas that I, myself, have professional experience in and didn’t notice. In the face of significant adversity, Brian demonstrated every effort to get my case settled. At trial, I had the opportunity to witness him effortlessly excavate the truth in ways that only someone who is an expert in the art and science of litigation could do. Finally, it’s evident Mr. Edwards strives to enable families to live freely in peace. With over a year working together, I can say he’s a person of substantial character and a highly talented attorney. Brian is the real deal. For those embarking on this journey: I encourage you to get an understanding of the basic elements of the process - filings/motions, mediation etc. so you know what to expect. While I know Brian would happily detail out every step if asked, his time on your case will be best spent working your case. Create a support system around you, such as a therapist, other parents going through it, work out partners, etc. Engage the right people for the right things. Good luck.

I used McKinley Irvin to represent me in a divorce. I would strongly NOT recommend using them. I used two different attys there as the first one had gone out on medical leave. They were both awful.

I hired Matthew Taylor and Mallory Nicole Weaver from McKinley Irvin in February `21. Matthew was hired just to complete the paperwork for my divorce and be a plan B if things went south. Matthew had me signed up for an egregious amount of alimony. He never made an effort in negotiating for me. He continually deflected and avoided my requests for help. I fired Matt & Mallory after they took $10k just to complete initial paperwork. Another lawyer was able to reduce my spousal maintenance to a reasonable amount. Do not waste your time with Matt, Mallory, or McKinley Irvin. They only serve those who have a lot to take. If you have less than that then they just take.

Kim Schnuelle helped me with my case, she was very helpful and good communicator. My case was very complicated, but with her professionalism and great team, Christine and Rachel’s help it get done at the end. I would recommend Kim to anyone, especially those international cases.

As an attorney myself, I have high standards on who I hire when I need representation. Kim Schnuelle exceeded every expectation I had. Kim was very communicative, patient with my questions, and always aware of the importance of financial transparency. Kim's mastery of family law gave me confidence in her ability to be a strong advocate. I was very prepared for our mediation and was fully supported by Kim throughout the day. Intake personnel Dani Berlin was quick to schedule a family law consultation for me and collect pre-payment, but she did not follow through with the attorney profile she promised nor did she return my email regarding the proper exchange of documentation. She did, however, contact me 2 hours before my scheduled consultation and tell me that the attorney she had scheduled would need to cancel because of a conflict. Due to the timeframe of my needs, this was completely detrimental to my situation and although I was refunded, the firm made zero attempt to reschedule or accommodate me. I consider this both unfortunate and unprofessional.

Hillary is amazing! She knows how to handle difficult situations and really listens to understand.

This review is a long time past due! I dont think I can say enough great things about Hillary. She stayed with is for 6 years dealing with a psychotic, narcissistic coparent who liked to play games, on top of being across the country from us majority of the time. She helped us navigate court and always kept what was at our child's best interest at heart rather than just winning a case. She became more than an employee, she became like family, so much so that she celebrated the birth of our youngest child with us from across the country. If our case had stayed in Washington State we would not have hesitated to keep her as our attorney!
