We had a problem with our Seattle rental whereby we were trying to get out of a lease mid 2nd year as we bought our own home. The landlady was trying to extract a huge amount of money for us to leave the property claiming we were locked into a 2 year lease, despite unclear lease terms and no early termination clause. We found Peter on Avvo by posting a question and he provided clear and concise guidance out of the gate. We also engaged in his services to help write a strongly worded letter to the landlady explaining why the reasons why the lease was invalid and that we were on a month-to-month lease.
