I hired her (and her team) for my divorce case as a defense lawyer. I really needed their professional help as I am NOT familiar with divorce procedures and WA laws. She literally did not give me any feeling/confidence that I had a chance to win the case. I talked with her a couple of times and a few email exchanges but my bills kept coming even though she is not my attorney anymore. There was no mediation or court. We did not even make it that far. I feel that she overcharged me even though I explained that I had a very bad financial situation and did not work with her very long. There were moments that she made me feel like she was HIS (the opposite side) attorney and not mine. If you need somebody to make you feel that "you got this", she is not the one! I needed a strong lawyer who understands moms and women who have been in tough situations in a strange country and being abused but all i ended up receiving was HUGE bills. I now can't even afford any other lawyer and am in a worse situation than before.

If there is 10 stars, I would give them full stars. My divorce case dragged for more than one year, before I came to DuBois Cary Law firm. My first divorce firm was McKinley Irvin (the big popular firm), which assigned 2 leaving attorneys to my case. The attorneys are leaving the firm, yet they are assigned to my case! I spent money on bad lawyers, who never spent a drop of their energy on my case. I moved to another lawyer, John Kydd, who is abusive and would clocked hours and hours to gain fee. We talked on the phone for over 3 hours! That is super exhausting, because I would be reduced to tears. I almost gave up on attorneys, with much disappointment and decided to go Pro Se. After 4 months of Pro Se, my ex was pushing me so hard to a corner. With my family help, I finally mastered a courage to contact DuBois Cary. Amanda recommended Lucia to me. I was very skeptical about my new attorney. Fast forward, within 5 months, my divorce case is finalized with a good offer package from the opposing party. Even the opposing attorney like working with Lucia! I am very blessed to meet Lucia (remotely due to Covid), and I hope I can hug her in person if I can. She is genuinely care for me, and she is such a kind hearted lady. She is professional, and her team is very responsive. What can I say, there is always a good sheep among the bad ones. Thanks Luca and team, you have done good thing to my daughters and myself. You have saved a helpless mother who is constantly bullied by her ex. You managed to steer her away from hopeless to hopeful situation. Thank you!

You have to get along with your mom or lose children & with these photographs & mental health history you will lose in court.....Summer 2002 never addressed the Lawyer from Mercer Island that her black female receptionist left a message on my home phone changed an apt. My xhusband listened delete message & did not tell Lora. I hired childcare showed up & a man with Bluetooth in loby smug powefull hate crimes. Gail Mcsomething big blonde slob.

Michelle Fontenot and her assistant, Jason, worked diligently over the past 18 months through the most difficult time in my life. They provided much needed guidance and support and always had my children's best interest at heart. Even when I was emotional, confused, and distraught, they remained patient, calm, and compassionate. I could not have done this without them and would recommend them to anyone.

While my ex and I had an almost wholly amicable split we felt completely unqualified to fairly divvy up our assets. Monica--in a single meeting--looked at the money and helped us reach an agreement we both felt was more than fair. She was relaxed, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Couldn't have asked for me. I highly recommend her.

I don't know what I would do with out Lucia and Tania as my legal team. Lucia has been my lawyer for about 5 years. I would recommend her to anyone. She shows up for me completely prepared for the courtroom, is totally confident in her presentations and and is so knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough for all they have done.
