Working with Isaak Hurst and attorneys at International Maritime Group in Seattle was a sincere pleasure. I sought a maritime attorney to help me with the sale of a Washington State charter boat LLC. I had inherited a charter boat business that I could not manage from afar. I found a new manager for the LLC and wanted to transfer my interests with a complex agreement for the buyer to pay me over several years. Isaak Hurst’s team put together a mutually agreeable very tight contract for the sale and transfer of my interest in the LLC. Sadly less than a year into the agreement, life took a difficult turn when the new LLC manager purchasing my interest unexpectedly died leaving more than half of monies owned to me outstanding. With a new prospective buyer at hand, it took perseverance, great negotiation skills and back and forth communication with prospective buyer and his attorney. I found Isaak Hurst to be compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely focused in dealing with the situation itself. Isaak was a great listener, expressed compassion for my situation, educated me about relevant information, and ensured that there were no surprises. We received some pushback from the prospective new buyer and his attorney. All the while Isaak Isaak Hurst was undeterred by anything that came up in the course of negotiations, always staying focused on the end result we wanted. He crafted a well-written legal document that along with his great negotiations skills got me the financial results that I wanted. I highly recommend Isaak Hurst, his team of attorneys and International Maritime Group.

Got a lawyer here for a speeding ticket and nobody reached out to me before or after the ticket. I am now paying a $105 collections bill because I was not made aware of any court or ticket fees after the court date. No email, call, or text, I didn’t even have a number or email to reach out to my lawyer for the case. 2 stars because my ticket was reduced from $330 to $140, but I am very frustrated that I was never contacted.

My boat was hit by another boat and their insurance refused to pay me for lost charter income.
