My family had be bothered by a legal issue off and on for decades. We went to different law firms in the area and were met with high retainers and opinions that the outcome of the case would be detrimental to our family. When we talked to Black Law, Chris himself talked to the family and laid out his opinion, strategy and cost. His opinion was we had a good chance at a positive outcome, and some chance at an outright dismissal. His retainer was lower than anyone else had quoted. HIs strategy was to work hard and smart and get started on the issue the next day. Which he did! In a matter of days, (not months as quoted elsewhere), he had the total case dismissed in our favor!! His work was right on the mark and immediate. He himself is personal and personable. I can't say enough about his company and how he treats his clients. No promises, but straight talk with detailed strategy and opinion on outcome. Then he executes his strategy and our outcome was the best possible, and much better than expected. I recommend Chris the highest of anyone I would recommend for anything. Especially when it is legal. Great guy and firm.

I am enthusiastically recommending Chris Black. He worked with me over the course of a year while representing a family member of mine on a case that was very complex. In addition to his great skill and knowledge as an attorney, I found him to be unfailingly compassionate and kind, and always calm under very difficult circumstances. Chris goes out of his way to respond quickly to any question or issue. He is a person of high integrity and consistently provides excellent representation from start to finish. I will always be grateful to him.

Due to my personal situation, I have had to talk to all sorts of attorneys with differing levels of expertise over the last one year. In the area of immigration alone, I consulted three lawyers. Of all of them, Lola stood out, right from the beginning, as the most competent, professional and truly looking out for me. In my experience, it's rare to find an attorney like that. Lola was always responsive to my questions - whether it was over the phone or email. She provided detailed answers and the best objective advice for my situation. She was always available and accessible, unlike other attorneys, where I couldn't get past the assistants. Most importantly, Lola always had the most current and accurate explanation of the law. I was very impressed by her proficiency of the law. Besides being a competent lawyer, the little that I've come to know Lola, she is a beautiful human being and a strong independent woman. I admire her for her expertise and the work she does every day to better the lives of others. I have no hesitation in recommending Lola in her professional capacity as an immigration attorney! I hired Timothy Leary (WSBA# 30355) in July 2015 to represent me in a criminal case. This was the WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE, I have regretted it every day since. Sorry this is very long but there is so much wrong with what happened. Do not consider him for representation, you too will regret it. You have been warned. Here is why, - He failed to meet the professional standards of conduct in the following ways: - He was unresponsive to communications sent both over email and over the phone. We had to schedule meetings with him twice (On October 22, 2015 and another time) to address the concerns with his unresponsiveness and not meeting the commitments he made, as well as the total lack of progress with my case. - He delayed the scheduling of the trial in the case 10 times despite my desire to progress with the case. Being charged in this case caused me to lose my job and his further delay caused me to not be able to continue with my life. - He showed up late to almost ALL of the court hearings. - On October 15, 2015 he showed up so late to the hearing that the court wrote a warrant for my arrest since he was not there to announce us as present. (Attorneys you pay should HELP you with your situation, not make it worse) He was unapologetic about these actions. HE CONFIRMED TO ME THAT HE MADE THE REQUEST TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT but was not able to get any more videos than what had already been provided in the discovery. I later made a public disclosure request to the police department regarding all of the public disclosure requests made regarding the traffic camera videos or the incident and there was no record of a request from Leary! He blatantly lied about his work on my case........ My experience with Timothy Leary was horrible and I would not recommend his services to anyone.

Chris Black did an excellent job for our family. He was fair and diligent and we received a positive outcome for our case.

I got divorced and needed to remove conditions from my Green Card. Lola made the stressful application process very easy to go through. She’s extremely organized, always responds on time and provides you with all necessary information. I asked a million of questions about the application process and she would get back to me with detailed answers fast, even when she was out of town. I had consultations with other lawyers before I went to Lola and didn’t get anything but some vague answers and a lot of maybe’s. Lola is not like that, she explains very clearly what your options are. She made a list of documents that I needed to collect, worked with me on my statement explaining my situation to the USCIS, and checked every little detail on the application. Most of the work was done online, which was very convenient as I didn’t need to go to her office, but could still reach her any time. I received my green card within a week after filing (I applied for the green card while I was still married and needed to switch the joint application to a waiver). Lola is an amazing professional and I can’t thank her enough for all her work.
