Rory is beyond dedicated to the field of law. Having had the opportunity to work with him at the Court of Appeals, I witnessed firsthand his extreme work ethic and legal expertise. A little under 1 year ago, I found myself in a situation that has affected every aspect of my life. I was arrested for DUI, and the first call that I made was to Rory. Rory and I have known each other since college, where we were both members of the same fraternity. I had never been in a situation like this before and I needed expert advice and counsel. At the time, Rory was working as a clerk with the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One for the Honorable Judge, James Verellen. Rory explained to me that his expertise was not in that type of law. I asked him several questions and asked for his expert advice on recommendations for lawyers that specialized in DUIs. He promptly emailed me with a list of specialists. The lawyer I chose was one of Rory's top recommendations. The case just completed and I was not charged with a DUI. Had it not been for Rory's vast knowledge of his fellow colleagues, and his invaluable advice and information he gave me, this whole situation could have turned out a lot worse. I only just wish that I would have been able to hire Rory, for my trust in his judgment and immense skill, helped bring some light in a very dark moment in my life. Rory's dedication and follow-through on the recommendations he gave me only begins to highlight his passion and drive for the work that he does. I could only imagine the level of professionalism and expertise he brings to the table for an actual client, and not just a recommendation for a fellow fraternity brother.
