Mr. Leary responded quickly to our request for guidance and helped us see things in the correct light, giving us a path forward to return to normality. Frankly we really felt lost (and completely stressed out) before consulting with Mr. Leary, and afterwards felt like we had a true and incredibly experienced advocate on our side. His knowledge of the Legal system, both the letter of the law and the practical interpretation, gave us clear guidance and hope. He presented clear options and helped us steer a path forward. While Mr Leary handles much more serious cases, he was incredibly patient with us, taking his time to explain everything, and we always felt like he was giving us his complete attention. When my adult son was in trouble we hired Tim. He was knowledgable, and no-nonsense. After Tim spoke with the public defender attached to the case, he determined that his services were not necessary, and returned our money. He chose honesty over profit. Tim helped me at one of the lowest moments of my life. He was able to swiftly take an exaggerated Assault 2 charge and negotiate it down to deferred misdemeanor which was eventually dismissed all together. Tim is fantastic and on the ball! Within less than 2 hours of leaving a message with his receptionist, I received a call back. I had a couple of VERY urgent matters that needed attention immediately, and Tim took charge and got everything I needed taken care of. I was astonished! Last year in October was my worst nightmare. I was wrongly accused of assault in a domestic violence case. Someone referred me to Tim, and right off the bat he asked me if I was okay, and cared for my well being. My daughter facing charges was my worst nightmare. My first thought was "I need Seattle's best attorney". I don't know if that is Tim, but I know I'd return, and have recommended him to others. I would have to agree that communication was at times frustrating, I realized afterward that Tim knew exactly what he was doing and probably didn't need every detail from a panicking father. Day before trial, charges dropped. The best day of my life. Tim is a bad ass.

After leaving a message for Tim at his office, I was most impressed to receive a phone call from him that same evening. After introducing himself, he immediately inquired on my daughter's well being. Tim's thoughtfulness extends beyond the defendant, as he made the effort to include and address questions from all those present at the consultation. Tim's legal background and past experience as a prosecuting attorney was helpful in providing information and expectations with my daughter's domestic violence case. During the consultation, Tim crafted an email to the prosecutor's office and forwarded it with intentions to expedite a response on our behalf, as he has previously worked with the assigned prosecutor. Although our experience with Tim may have been limited to a consultation, first impressions of his legal knowledge, and the empathy expressed, provided a level of comfort to us that prior to this meeting was running rampant in our heads with worst case scenarios. Tim would be a strong consideration for anyone looking for legal counsel in the criminal defense area.

I find myself getting caught up for a crap case out of Shoreline that from the start the city was trying to hang me for. I talked with a couple of people about it and everyone said the same thing "Donal you need to get an attorney, the public pretenders the city appoints will not work for you." I didn't listen at first cause in my head my 6 year old could of gotten this charge dismissed. Well here comes my appointed attorney saying that the city wants 90 days in jail and will not come down off that. I take a few people's advice and start calling attorneys. The one that was recommended the most could not take on my case with his plate being full. He says that I should call Mr. Leary. When me and Mr. Leary meet for the first time and I explained what was going on he reassured me that everything will be alright and he is here to fight for me. He had to keep it professional but I knew what he meant. Sure enough that case was dismissed and now I'm sorry free. Thanks Tim I greatly appreciate you, best money I've ever spent.

Tim was an outstanding lawyer to have in my experience with the justice system. He fought continuously and I never felt stressed while working with him. My case was a tumultuous one. We eventually rejected a plea deal and fought the charges in court. Tim was able to get my case thrown out - the best case scenario at that point.
