After coming up with a unique idea, I set out to find a patent attorney who could assist in securing a non provisional patent. I interviewed several attorneys... selecting the right attorney was a crucial task, knowing that this individual would be responsible for putting together a docket of information together that would wholly protect my idea. Walker Weitzel from Alloy Patent Law was instrumental in helping me through the process. Their fee's were quite reasonable relative to the other firms I spoke with. We collaborated back and forth until we felt we had an iron clad submittal. As their fee's were fixed, I felt no pressure communicating back and forth until we had addressed all angles. I feel it is important to understand that when selecting a firm to represent you, that it should be done with a long term relationship in mind as these folks will be assisting in the future by tweaking and protecting your ideas. We had invested a lot of time and effort in designing a new Moscow mule mug, really unlike anything else. Our motivation came from the discovery of a sunken ship treasure dating back to the 1400’s. We couldn’t mess this up and we needed someone we trusted to do the job right. Walker did a superb job! We turned everything over to him and his communication was excellent as the process unfolded. He helped us think thru key decisions, making sure we understood the good/bad of each. We will undoubtedly will use Walker with our next intellectual property protection requirements.

We recently used Alloy Patent Law for filing a design patent and could not be more pleased with the whole experience.
