Spent 100 dollars for 1/2 hour consultation with a presumed lawyer. This person on team who had no JD kept saying we don't advise our clients to do this or that and gave wrong advice. Waste of 100 dollars.

I’d give a zero star if it would let me. What a terrible legal experience. Don’t waste your time and money. Elena Trebaol was our lawyer and she appeared in court with us twice and literally accomplished nothing. We spun our wheels with this firm and nothing ever got accomplished. We felt really defeated and frustrated. We felt a lack of support and care for our case. Our first court appearance came and at 9 am, we had to enter the courtroom having no idea where our attorney was. We had text and called with no response and had yet to see her. After she arrived we talked for a minute and then our case was pushed out due to a box not being checked. It felt like a waste of time and money and Elena was already there for another case. Our case was then scheduled for 2/8. We found out online that it was moved and brought that to the firm’s attention. Then, our case was scheduled to 2/28 in person. Then online, and then finally it was cancelled because forms were not filled out in time. We were charged for an attorney appearing on our behalf and for spending time reviewing our case when this error was not on our side. Each time we had to appear in court, we had to also pre-schedule daycare and spent $160 each time for childcare that wasn’t necessary, as we work from home and could have cared for them. We were not compensated for this. Elena was incompetent in the courtroom, as she only excelled at arguing with the judge and trying to push something through that the judge kept telling her wouldn’t work. After one failed courtroom experience, other Lawyers came up to us and Elena to offer advice on how we could get what we needed done. Following another traumatic visit to their biological fathers house, we tried to reach out to our attorney with no response for days and then was told she would call us and never did. We sent multiple emails that seem to go ignored. However, we are pretty sure we were also being charged for each email even though we are just trying to follow up and get a response. We felt defeated and unsupported. This was a difficult situation for our family, we thought we had a slam dunk case, but Elena and View Ridge Law managed to spin our wheels, bill us us for wasted time, without even an ounce of progress achieved. When we finally got up the courage to fire this firm, we were refunded less than 1/5th of our deposit. Please don’t waste your time and money here or You’ll have nothing to show for it, like us.

I have greatly appreciated the respectful, efficient service I've been provided with Mackenzie Sorich and her team at View Ridge. When you lose someone so essential to your whole self, you need someone like Mackenzie to be there to help you through the legal process. I couldn't have done it without them. The most valuable part of going through View Ridge was that they made sure I understood what tasks I could complete on my own and what Mackenzie and her team could do for me, and then ultimately allowed me to make that determination for myself. We're so grateful for Mackenzie, Elena and their team! They helped my parents in a difficult custody battle for their grandson.
