I hired Elena in 2017 after my ex ignored our parenting plan and moved out of the specified boundary with our kids. She assured me she knew how to deal with his personality type and that we would get the issue dealt with. My issue was urgent and she made it a priority. She was very quick with responding to me and getting paperwork completed and filed. She also listened to my divorce/custody story and told me that my first attorney withheld vital information from me that could have solidified me getting full custody (that doctors/dentists visits are crucial evidence since I was the one who took them - my previous attorney never mentioned any of this). I wish Elena had been my first attorney since she actually cares about her clients cases and actually fights for them in the courtroom. She actually had to pay for a flight to come to a last minute hearing set up by my ex's attorney since she was out of state with her family at the time. She was also approached by my ex's attorney at this hearing and was questioned on a personal level about what we were trying to achieve (super unprofessional) and Elena handled her with maturity and class. Elena is very personable and has a great sense of humor. I had the misfortune of hiring a different attorney this year for other issues my ex was causing (Elena had moved from Kent to Everett by this time) and it was the worst experience with an attorney I've ever had. Elena is truly one in a million and if I ever have future issues, I would be willing to drive to the 1.5 hours just for her to represent me.

Elena is a legal super hero. I was in a tough situation with my kids, with my soon to be ex making accusations and not moving forward with needed processes. Elena not only knows how to deal with every type personality, she's able to help me with not "over thinking", having patience in the process, and making sure the process stays fair for everyone.
