Geoff's firm was recommended to me by a good friend, also a lawyer. My experience with legal issues in the past had lead me to believe that most lawyers were unapproachable and hard to understand. I had a tenant go sideways on me and legal guidance was absolutely imperative. Geoff helped me to understand what steps could be taken, and the implication of these steps. He got me through a very tough situation relatively unscathed and for that, I am grateful. Since then, I've contacted Geoff for guidance in other areas; he's always clear about the limitation of his expertise in some areas but can help me to understand the law in a way that informs my decision regarding the necessity going further. It's a huge boon to know that I have created a professional relationship with someone who is on my side; legal help is not often required, but when it is, you want to know you're working with someone you trust.
