When I was arrested for my DUI, I was very scared and with the charges I was facing I knew I was in serious trouble. Our first call to Coleen was late on a Saturday night (by my mom while I sat in jail) and even though it was outside of “office hours” and she was home with her family, she took answered her phone and took the call. Coleen talked with my mom for almost an hour explaining what the charges were that I was facing, the seriousness of the trouble I was in and what all of my options were. Once I was released from jail and I called her myself (early on Sunday morning) she spent almost an hour explaining everything to me all over again and what my options were for the charges I was facing. When it came time for court, she drove all the way down to Kent for me (from Seattle) and fought hard to get me a deferred prosecution and avoid the jail time I was facing. Facing a DUI is one of the most scariest things I have had to face! Coleen had all the answers to questions I did not even know to ask from the first telephone conversation. Coleen gave me solid advice on all the little things one has to do when charged such as; the interlock device, drug and alcohol assessment. Attorney is the best of the best. Avoided costly court and legal expenses through settlement because of her knowledge and experience with the local court system.
