As a tenant I ran into a situation where my building went without heat or hot water for a total of 11 days in January (one of the coldest months of the year!). My property manager wanted me to pay an exorbitant lease break fee to leave. Josh negotiated with the property management company, and as a result I didn't have to pay the lease break fee.
