I hired Veronica to represent me in a very messy and difficult CIR lawsuit that had been brought against me. Veronica and her team were amazing. They took care of every detail, kept track of all filing deadlines and what was needed from me and when, which took a lot of the stress and pressure off of me. She represented me completely at all hearings and had excellent rapport with the judges. She truly fought for me and I know she and her team are the reason everything turned out so well for me. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing legal representation.

Veronica was recommended to me through a close friend, at a time when I was at my lowest. I'd just been assaulted by my husband of nearly 20 years, who was/is a complete textbook covert narcissist. As soon as we met for the consultation I just knew I was in good hands and that Veronica would fight the good fight for me in my divorce. It was a grueling 12+ months but through the whole thing Veronica never lost sight of our goals and in the end I got what was fair and just. I truly believe I would not have gotten the outcome we did had I hired another attorney.

I was recommended Veronica and her firm by a friend of the family. My soon to be ex-husband is a very challenging person to work with and my number 1 goal through the entire process was to do what is fair and what is right. I appreciate that Veronica and her firm helped to support me in those desires while protecting me from being bullied by my ex. They helped me not only navigate through the divorce and mediation process, but also helped with communications with the ex when he was less than appropriate on numerous occasions. They helped remind me that the boundaries I had set around my children were not only fair, they were just and that he needed to respect those boundaries. I also used Fierce to describe this group because while my case was settled it mediation, it was clear they knew when and where to be fierce and that is what you want when someone is advocating for your rights and the rights of your children. Should this have gone to trial, I have no doubt that Veronica and her team would have been nothing short of phenomenal. I worked a lot with Amy in dealing with various correspondence with my ex and she was truly amazing. While I feel for anyone reading this review in need of a lawyer, I could not recommend Veronica and her team more.

I really enjoyed working with Veronica. Her team is smart, quick, intelligent, and very supportive. I trusted her and her team with the well-being of myself and my 2 boys. Veronica Freitas and her team went above and beyond to fight for me in a custody case to insure my son resided with me, his Mom. She is an excellent listener, articulate, thoughtful, and compassionate. Her paralegal, Amy, touched base with me daily and helped me navigate through an extremely emotional & stressful case. She made sure I had all of the valuable & necessary information needed to win my case. When the opposing lawyer attempted to bend the laws in their favor, she was quick to point out the inadequacies in their argument and poked many holes in their case. As a result, the case was dismissed. Veronica and her team continue to check on me and my son and our safety even though the case has ended. Veronica’s initial legal consultation was uncomfortable for me because I wanted to get out of a damaged marriage as quickly as possible, but I now regret not taking the steps she suggested. She was patient with me the entire time and her counsel was professional and what anyone could use when you’re undergoing stress and can’t think as clearly as she evidently does for her clients. As a father, I was trapped for 3 years in family law hell. Having spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with incompetent buffoons, I felt defeated and lost. Veronica is smart, efficient and isn't intimidated. She and her office are professional and supportive. She came on late in my case, when my former attorney was intimated by my X's lawyer. Veronica didn't skip a beat and didn't even need extensions. She knows the law inside and out, and is an excellent trial attorney. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to feel protected and well represented. She doesn't sugar coat things. Time and money aren't wasted when you deal with her. She will have your back and fight for you.

Calling and emailing other attorneys to only hear sorry I don't have enough time to take your case. (Sound familiar?). Quick note I only had 2 weeks before my first case and Veronica was the only attorney that was able to squeeze me in. Well I was fortunate enough to have two attorneys in my search that mentioned Veroinca Freitas!!! Let me tell you that making that call to Veronica was the best thing I have done for my child. Compasionate, Caring, Thoughtful and most of all Understanding. Is she aggressive? YES! Does she put her clients first? YES! Does she get results? Most Definitely YES! But I think it is also very important to mention that Veronica does not do it alone. Veronica has an awesome team that backs her up and are very involved with everything that goes on in your case. "The Team" as I call them are all highly motivated super heros that go above and beyond. Veronica can only come up with a solid arguments for your case with the information you give her and her team exploits all avenues by asking the right questions and finding the right material to build the arguments for your case. Is it frustrating at times? YES! but let me be the first to assure you that it is all worth it. My frustration is not from Veronica and her team, my frustration is from apposing counsel asking for silly and questionable material. Veronica and her team are there to walk you through the legal mess. Believe me I thought I was going to be able to defend myself. NO FREAKING WAY! without Veronica and her team to help guide me through the legal maze, I would have lost everything. I would have been feeling defeated and I would have lost visitation rights to my child. But that did not happen and I am greatful for Veronica and her team. They all continue to impress me and have been nothing short of AWESOME!

I must have done something good to have been blessed with Veronica and her team. They are a wonderful team and, against tough odds, we won the custody case and I can continue to be a father, and the primary parent, to my kids. Veronica is brilliant, compassionate, professional, efficient, and direct. Also, she is a sight to see in the courtroom. If you have the unfortunate experience of going to trial, you’ll be extremely happy that Veronica is on your side and not the opposing counsel.
