Kerry worked with me several times over 5 years in divorce proceedings, changing a parenting plan, getting protection orders, developing a will, etc. He was always a pleasure to work with, he worked well with other attorneys, gave me great advice (i.e. balanced, realistic, timely). He incorporated my thoughts and wishes in the pleadings. He should have a much higher rating and I can only think he is just more focused on serving his clients than on marketing. It was also nice to know that he is very active on local boards and a strong supporter of the arts in Seattle. All my best Kerry, thank you again for excellent service!

I had a very difficult divorce from an abusive husband and Kerry and his paralegal were incredibly helpful. They were supportive, responsive and available when I needed them. Kerry got me a much better settlement than I expected. The cost of his services was less than the increase in my settlement, so I was very satisfied. I should mention that I worked for 6 or 7 years as a paralegal myself so I think I have a good ability to judge.

First of all, Kerry was working with me "pro-bono" or at a very discounted rate. This was not by choice apprently but something enforced by the state. So that may be the cause of my somewhat lack-luster experience. Mostly he was concerned with getting paid and getting things over with. I was fairly young so I didn't know I could actually find a new lawyer, so also my fault. Kerry was definately a nice guy, but most of the time I felt like he wanted to just get my case done so he could get some real money.
The case was regarding child custody and child support, he did ok; he didn't really fight for my interests, but he also didn't screw me over. I'm only not recommending him based on the fact that I think he's not so thrilled about doing pro-bono work. At full price he might be a star.
