I was involved in two rear-end collisions within a year, neither being my fault. The first one I never settled because the police officer told me it was not worth it as the other driver was uninsured, even though I was hurt and had to miss work. The second accident totaled my car that I had just paid off and left me with a shoulder injury. The driver admitted fault, but his car insurance treated me terribly.
