We worked with attorney Elizabeth Jennings to create our will, POA for health care & finance, and a couple of other documents, and found her to very knowledgeable in estate and end of life issues and good at listening to our wishes. We also worked with paralegal Shanna Johnston, who was very responsive to our requests. All was done virtually during the pandemic. We found a few minor typos on draft documents which we reviewed, and they were corrected at no cost.

Elizabeth and Shanna have been helping me tirelessly for the past 10 months as we navigate how to best support my grandmother with dementia. It's a challenging and complicated situation that I wouldn't have been able to do alone. My husband and I also recently did our estate planning through NWELS. Far less painless than what we're going through with my grandma, but a huge relief to get it done. We finally have some peace of mind knowing our wishes will be met as we age and eventually pass.

We needed assistance and guidance on estate planning, power of attorney, healthcare directly, and among others. Working with Julia and the staff Northwest Elder Law Group was a stress-free experience. Julia was there the whole time to share helpful legal consultation and provided us with options to consider that we haven’t even thought about. She was responsive and friendly to work with— and the same can be said for the other staff members at the firm. My wife and I felt very comfortable working with Julia and the firm…felt like we’ve known them for years!
