Erica is an amazing attorney! She helped me navigate through my tumultuous divorce and parenting plan with patience, understanding and continuous encouragement. I really appreciated being able to have an affordable consultation prior to retaining her so that I could get an idea of how to proceed. She patiently walked me through the process and gave me great advice that helped me secure the results I needed at a reasonable price and timeline. She and her assistants continued to welcome my requests even after my divorce was finalized when new disagreements came up with my ex husband regarding our property and children. She and her assistants are always very friendly, welcoming, thorough and quick to respond. I can never thank them enough for everything they did for me! I highly recommend them!

Erica was AMAZING! My divorce was difficult to say the least. Having to subpoena just about everything due to an uncooperative ex. She went above and beyond to help me relocate back to my home state with my 2 kids. She represented the facts and was able to clearly explain to the Judge why it was necessary to relocate. She showed compassion for my situation and was fully capable of handling whatever the other attorneys bogus request/responses were. In the end I was awarded my move and primary custody of my children. I felt like she was fair in our requests and I don't think things would have ended so positive if I had a different lawyer. I highly recommend Erika for anyone going into court with children or just a difficult divorce. She is highly knowledgeable, organised and extremely compassionate.

Erica represented me during the darkest phase of my life when I had to go through a divorce process after 16 years of marriage (18 years of relationship). It was a complicated case in a sense that I did not see the divorce coming as my ex hid all the extra marital activities and communal assets waste behind my back. I was a trusting stay at home parent for 12 years who fully trusted my spouse. Erica fought for mine and my kids' rights. She does not sugar coat things and keep expectations realistic, which I appreciate. She's easy to work with. During moments when I did not understand why she advised certain things, she's open to hear my input and patiently help me understand. Erica uncovered all the extra marital activities that my ex did. It was a tough thing to face, but I needed to know all the details to get clarity and heal. Erica's staff were equally wonderful. They are quick to response and always attentive to my needs. One of them even ran from the lobby with a box of tissues when I was inside Erica's office wailing crying from discovering all the extra marital things my ex did. Erica and her staff are always careful with their clients' finances. They are always careful with the legal fees because they understand money is tight during divorce process. I consulted with a few family law attorneys in the Seattle area for a modification to my parenting plan that also involved a safety issue that needed very prompt attention. This was a very stressful and scary time for me that had me worried for my son`s well being & safety. It was VERY clear to me that my case was in the best possible hands immediately after my first meeting with Erica! I finally had hope again! Erica and her team truly cared about my case, provided prompt attention to my questions (in-person, phone, email). At the hearing she argued my case strongly and was not intimidated by the judge. Hired Erica in 2012 based upon recommendations of family friends that are also family law attorneys. They did not know Erica, but had heard really good things about her from colleagues. My friends (who knew both my ex and myself and would not represent either of us) actually gave me four names, which led me to pick Erica. Erica listened to my concerns and priorities, and helped me understand what she could and couldn't do. She was consistently my advocate during the process. We did not win every point when the judge made his decision, but she prepared our position to the best advantage. I have remained connected with Erica over the past seven years, and have had cause to consult with her a time or two since the divorce to resolve parenting and decree issues. I recommend Erica extremely highly. If you are willing to listen to her advice and counsel as well as she listens to your issues and priorities, she will fight to get you the best possible outcome.

Erica handled my divorce but most importantly, the battle for full custody of my daughter. I was told by a few, including Erica, that it was very unlikely that I would get full custody, Nonetheless, she fought for it, for a full year and at the end, I did get the full custody with strict rules for the few supervised visits. Erica is not only a great advocate to have on your side but she makes sure that you stay realistic the whole time. Erica is not making sure she charge every penny she can, quite the opposite, I dont think she charges enough. She coached me before every court appearance and told me what a judge expect of me. You can tell right away that she takes her clients' best interest at heart. among many examples, she knew my daughter's name right away, my ex husband attorneys had to look it up in his paperwork, in court while referring to my daughter. I guess what I want to say is, as much as we want a tiger that will fight for us ( which Erica is) it is so important to have someone that understand the deep pain of divorce. I recommended her many times and will again and again.

Erica is a great counsel to have on your side - it has been a true pleasure working with her on a pretty complex case. She fights for you, while helping to keep you balanced and not let your emotions prevail. Erica always has your best interests as a priority and recommends the best possible course of action (and yes, I have dealt with other lawyers, who were clearly running up the hours and bills; it was quite the opposite with Erica). Erica handled my divorce which was very complex and lengthly. She always had my best interest and my daughter's best interest at heart. One of my close friends recommended me to Erica when I was going through an extremely painful divorce. I had to contact Erica on a holiday, Memorial Day, and she literally spent the majority of the evening on the phone with me, walking me through completing all of the necessary documents so that we could serve him and get filed as soon as possible. She was the one person that I could count on during this time, and she did everything with kindness, compassion and some comedy thrown in so that I could relax and breathe! Erica is such a friendly person that she has befriended many of the judges and court personell, so they know her and respond well to her, that is a plus!
