Unfortunately, at the age of 21, I was made aware of my horrible debt by little notice of my wages being garnished and my car being repossessed at my place of employment. Before reaching out to Lance I had called several attorneys and none of them really explained my available options, they all just wanted me to file a Chapter 13 immediately. I’m am so glad I found him. I can’t imagine where I would be today had I listened to the other attorneys and tried to make payments and support myself/child the entire time. From 18-27 a lot of adults struggle to manage their credit and funds. This for sure was me. My bankruptcy discharged literally around the time I started to become responsible with finances and now I have all 3 scores over 750, a savings account I didn’t have to touch during the pandemic, and now I’m actively searching to purchase a home. I’m now 31.
