I can't stress enough how wonderful Emily and Kelli were for me after my sister passed away. I came up to Spokane when my sister was hospitalized and soon after, found out she had stage 4 cancer. To say the least, it was a roller coaster ride and very very stressful. We brought her down to California so she could be with family but it wasn't too long afterwards, she peacefully passed away. The next step was dealing with her estate. We thought we could "do it ourselves", first having a Power of Attorney, then moving on to a Living Trust. But, we quickly found out that that wasn't enough. Doors were starting to shut on us and we realized that dealing with the estate of a loved one, especially while living in another state, wasn't that simple. Trying to find a good paralegal to take care of things, would have taken a long time and would be a shot in the dark seeing as we live a thousand miles away. Thank goodness the simple title of "Spokane Wills, Trusts and Probate" caught my eye, so I called. Emily set up a consultation with me very quickly. She took the time to listen to my concerns and questions and answered me in a way that a stressed out woman would understand. In other words, She was very kind. A burden was lifted and I could finally take a breath. I could e-mail Emily in the morning and she would usually answer by the end of the day taking me through the steps I needed to do, even calling me direct if need be. She also recommended certain things that could be done in our particular case to save us money! If you're feeling lost in the maze of dealing with your loved ones estate, all the laws pertaining to it and all the things that need to be done, I would recommend Emily, Kelli and her highly capable staff, one hundred percent.
