Very detached staff that didnt seem very keen on helping me told me I would receive information that evening never followed through or up with me to see if I still needed help will definitely be looking elsewhere for help. (In response to your response: What actually happened is you sent the email over 7 days after you said you would and not until after I already placed the review.)

Did a great job on fighting for more than the lowball first offer. Jane was very friendly and helpful with everything and always had answers for any questions.

After working in the same line of work for most his life, my husband had a bad fall witnessed by his boss and co-workers. As we were getting close to retirement, his injuries truly changed the plans we had made for our future and threatened to ruin us financially. Paying into the "system" for 40 years, did not seem to matter. This review is about my attorney, Chris Carlisle of Carlisle and Byers, LLC. A year ago, I was feeling so very desperate and scared: L&I had suddenly closed my claim. I hadbeen badly injured in 2018 while working at Washington State University when a 25 lb. shade fell from 16 ft onto my head knocking me senseless for a while and causing me to suffer a traumatic brain injury and a cervical C-1 subluxation. L&I had covered me for awhile but had limited many of the therapies my doctor had ordered. Then in April last year, 2021, L&I closed my claim. They used a report by a doctor they had hired and paid who talked to me for 20 minutes to dispute my injuries and then L&I just threw me away. Needing my L&I coverage for the problems I still have, I called many lawyers with no one wanting to take on my case. That is, until I called Chris Carlisle. He was the only one with worker’s comp knowledge willing to take on my case and go after L&I on my behalf to reopen my claim. I’m so glad he did. What a relief to put my case into his very competent hands. Throughout this past year, in addition to knowing what to do about my claim legally, Chris has also been caring, helpful, and understanding, especially when taking into consideration my head injury limitations. Chris has known what to do at each turn and always explains every step of what is occurring and what to expect along the way. It helps that Chris generally likes to have weekly phone appointments with me for us to go over the issues so I always feel included. I have known several lawyers, but I can honestly say that Chris Carlisle is by far one of the best attorneys ever. I am fortunate to have found him.

Chris is the man!! He explains everything in detail and actually does what he says he's going to do. And yes he does return phone calls. Good attorney I've been with him since 2016 and absolutely no complaints.

Grateful to say the least for Carlisle and Byers. Just had the doctor discuss with me what will be my 7th surgery in each of the last 7 years, will also be the 3rd surgery on my lower back. Mr. Carlisle is more than just an attorney, he is a wonderful person. I've had some hard times and he listened to my numerous issues. I cannot remember a time he wasn't able to return my call within a prompt and fair amount of time. I wouldn't wish anyone to deal with my problems but if you do and don't have a choice, do not go alone.
