I was injured in 2012, collect Workers Comp all the way up until 2018,when the self insured employer i worked for, decided they were tired of paying me,and did some pretty aweful stuff. Lied about me,cut my benifits without warning,causing me financial loss,and starved me out. I had hired 2 attorneys previously,who didnt care,and i ended up terminating,and made a huge mess of things. After countless calls seeking legal help,i was almost scared to call anyone else and hear that it was to much of a mess to deal with,cant tell you how sick of knowing what my employer was doing but they were not gonna be held accountable.it was to much work...Well then i called Mr Nick Pontarolo,at Delay,Curran,Thompson and Pontorolo. Nick listened to me,didnt discount at all what i was saying,never once did i ever feel like he was rushing me,or insignificant like many other attorneys ive talked to before. Nick took some time to look into my case,and lets say he treated me fair ,told me he would do his best,and he absolutely did HE WON MY CASE,he called me with updated information on time,and returned calls the same day,or an email. If he knew something,i was notified immediately.. Nick is an asset to his firm,and a credit to the profession. Nick knows the laws ,and is willing to put the work in for his clients. I would recommend Nick Pontorolo to ANYONE looking for an attorney with Workers Comp,i wish i had hired Nick years ago. I have referred Nick to friends and family ,for not only for Workers Comp,but also representing injured workers, social security disability, probate matters, and real estate disputes. I retained Nick Pontarolo in 2019 for an L&I Claim. When a much needed MRI was denied for the 3rd time, Nick jumped right in and got the ball rolling for me. Nick was there for any hiccups, and when L&I seemed to drop the ball, Nick was always there to expedite my needs. Nick and his entire staff always treated me the utmost respect and professionalism, and was quick to update me along the process with no surprises. My questions were always answered and any concerns were always put to rest. Mike Walker is one of the best lni lawyer I have ever had. Mike Walker helped me with all the questions I had about L&I, he is a wonderful very thorough lni lawyer! So anyone that reads this please use him as an L&I lawyer and get what you deserve!!! I have nothing negative to say about his office they are Cyril and on top of everything that you need to have turned in!
