I hired her based on the reviews I read on this site. I didn't know any attorneys personally and I felt a little lost looking at the list of names. Looking back now, I see that retaining her office was the best decision in a very hard divorce. I understand why she gets these high ratings. She andher staff are very smart, strategic, and diplomatic. And her rates are very reasonable. She is a rare find - a tough negotiator but also very understanding towards her clients. She is straightforward and honest. She helped me understand that a divorce is not a death. The family still exists, now in a different way. It helped set the tone for how I interact with my ex. And my kids are the ones who are doing better because of it. This divorce was hard on all of us but unlike my first attorney I felt that Shadan really listened to my problems and was a strong advocate. She was honest from day 1 and worked around my crazy schedule. She didn't promise more than she could deliver like my last attorney. In fact, she under promised and over delivered. I felt that I could trust her after our meeting and my gut was right. Once I hired her she cut through all the BS from the other side and got my divorce finalized. She helped stabilize the situation. Money well spent. I'm sharing my story in case it could help someone else. She helped me realize I was not alone in this process. Before I hired her, I felt like I was drowning. She really helped when I needed it most. I recommend her without a doubt. She deserves the five star ratings. Now I am remarrying and she is doing my prenup. Life is strange but still worth living.
