My wife and I scheduled a trust update with Rowan Murdock. Rowan was very cordial, knowledgable and timely. As a lawyer, I am very confident in her legal knowledge and abilities. Rowan and Diana Davis prepared the necessary documents and our update could not have been easier. Diana is very organized and fully explained our updated documents. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I appreciated the online webinars that I could watch in advance. I chose Moulton Law Offices to update a Revocable Trust that had been established in San Diego in 1998 because of their transparency in fees and their positive reviews. I also appreciated that although I received a few emails after watching their webinars, there were no calls or hard sales pitches. They didn't disappointment. I was able to set up an appointment very quickly. We first met with met with Rowan, an attorney, who was great. Our documents were ready for signing in about three weeks. Diana was our paralegal who handled all the signing. She was organized and followed through with a couple edits that I needed her to make. I also made an error on a date. She fixed that and sent me the pages to replace in the massive printed notebook they provide. My only constructive criticism is that I find it hard to believe that in 2024, all the forms that should be completed as part of their estate planning (there are many) aren't available online in a fillable format. At my request, Diana sent me the forms in Word, which I was able to edit even though it is a much more difficult process than working with a fillable Adobe document. It doesn't take much to convert those word documents into fillable PDF's and I highly recommend Moulton Law Offices consider this some time in the future. For example, the Living Trust Consultation form should be available even before the first appointment with the attorney. That first appointment with the attorney is spent filling out a portion of that form. I could have easily completed that form and brought it to the appointment. Instead, the attorney fills out sections of it and then you bring it back when you complete the signing. I typically won't work with any company that isn't set up digitally or web based. They do provide (and I really appreciate) a portal which provides you and your designated successor access to all your trust documents on line. This is really helpful when sending copies of different documents to the relevant organizations when you execute your trust, e.g., the certification of trust, durable power of attorney, health care directive. The bottom line is that I think they did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Once your paperwork for a trust is completed, don't assume it's going anywhere in a timely fashion. It might just sit on someones desk until they get back from vacation....for us it was a 10 day delay
