I first contacted Mr. Doran a few years ago to help me get necessary medical treatment for a job injury. Rather than sign me on initially, he gave me FREE advice for over a year (including contact numbers & invaluable advice). As with any government entity, it was difficult to do on my own. When he took on my case, things began to roll very quickly. I got the necessary medical treatment (including surgery) and am now finishing my first year of retraining in college thanks to Mr. Doran's persistence. He and his entire office have been very gracious to me. They actually care about what is going on in my life! I've never felt anything other than part of their family. Each quarter, I can't wait to tell Mr. Doran's office how well I am doing in school. You can tell they ALL care & are excited to see me excel! Each time L & I has thrown a "kink" into my path to success, Mr. Doran has been right there to straighten it out, quickly and efficiently. He fights for his clients, determined and unabashed. He's straightforward and doesn't give his clients the runaround. One of Mr. Doran's greatest characteristics is that he wouldn't take on a case just to make money. If he feels you aren't forthcoming or are trying to bilk some entity, his honesty and fairness would prevent him from taking a case. He only takes 15% of my check, which is far less than other quotes I had received from other local attorneys. That 15% doesn't prevent me from keeping a roof over my head and dinner on the table. I've written his number down for anyone I've thought could benefit over the last few years. If not for Mr. Doran, I wouldn't have had my surgery & all the other necessary medical treatments, nor would I be proudly finishing my first year of retraining. I would highly recommend The Law Offices of Thomas L Doran to anyone seeking a lawyer who actually cares!

I was experiencing problems with an L&I claim. I contacted Mr. Doran and explained my situation. He made a couple suggestions that I should try before he took my case, and if I had no success to contact him for assistance. I tried those suggestions w/o any success. I wrote a letter to Mr. Doran and explained the complete situation I was involved with. I receive no response to my letter. I tried to contact him by phone and received no response. I tried e mails and still he refused to return communications. I fail to understand his obvious rudeness, unprofessional behavior, and total lack of concern concerning my situation, even though he said to call him back if I continued to have problems. It would appear that Mr. Doran, along with most attorneys who have been practicing law for a long time, are more interested in the most benefits (money) for the least amount of work. This attitude speaks volumes about the attorney profession as a whole.
